It's unlikely that you'll be able to get cuts as good as we'd like them to be by using those methods. Have a look at this thread. There are a number of techniques on how to improve your cuts; there is also a link to a free and legal download of an old version of Photoshop, which will allow you to get better cuts too

I'm afraid there's a lot of snow in this cut @Hasjasja, as with a lot of your cuts. What technique are you using? If you use remove.bg on your sources, you'll find that a lot of the snow (if not all) is removed, so do keep it in mind for the future.
