Miguel Angelo was able to confirm the backroom staff that will join him in his new role, with Martin Hunter, Abel Resino, Rui Correia, Nick Allamby, Massimo Neri and Bartek Sylwestrzak.

"Hunter is coming as assistant coach," confirmed Miguel Angelo. "I feel that he can help me a lot because he is a fantastic coach and has the excellent knowledge of English football. It will be a pleasure to have him as an assistant."

"Abel Resino and Rui Correia will be the two new GK Coach who will accompany me also in this new adventure. Nick Allamby and Massimo Neri will be my fitness coach and Bartek Sylwestrzak my coach. I believe that with this staff we will achieve great achievements."

There were also arrivals to other sectors in the club, such as:

@tongey It's true, we've already done it, the first time in an efl final, but if we can beat it, it would be bestial. I honestly thought that the championship was more difficult but this is a tour, but let's go one game at a time., everything happens ..

A new season is starting and Miguel Angelo makes changes in backroom


Miguel Angelo was able to confirm the backroom staff for the new season 2019/2020 is: Neil Banfield (New), Abel Resino, Rui Correia, Paco De Miguel (New), Massimo Neri, Bartek Sylwestrzak, Ricky Sbragia (New) and Iván Córdoba (New).

"I would like to thank Hunter and Nick Allamby for the excellent work we have done in the past season, and I wish them the best of luck for the future." confirmed Miguel Angelo.

"Neil Banfield is my new assistant manager and I believe in his skills that will be of use to us for our first premier league season. Also comes our new fitness coach Paco De Miguel and new coach Ricky Sbragia who has a lot of experience in the premier league. Iván Córdoba arrives as a coach after having worked at the Inter Milan club."


Due to some departures there were other staff tweaks:

Robin Sadler - Head Physio - Was already in the club

A good start, two big wins out could not ask for better. It could be a difficult month and start with the left foot but that's not what happened, we were able to show our value.

Thanks to winning the EFL cup we are in the fight for presence in the group stage of the europe league...

...and we got it ... Honestly I thought we couldn't make it, especially against celtic. Because they had a very good team in which I admired the players they hired .. but even so, we played better and we succeeded .. and this is our group .. nothing easy but we'll see!

Well done in the new season with Derby ! Tough group in the Europa League but its not impossible you can achieve something against Bordeaux and Fenerbahce ( not in Turkey tho ) !
