Jadon Sancho - LW - Borussia Dortmund - £40M
We definitely needed to get another winger in and Jadon Sancho has the ability to play on either side of the wings therefore Son could also play with him but it also a better alternative to Moura on the right wing. He fits the homegrown bill and has lots of potential so it was a no-brainer to take him back here.
Divock Origi - ST - Liverpool - Loan
Following the sale of the ageing striker Fernando Llorente, we were in need of a back up striker for Harry Kane as we didn't want to rely on our 16 year old academy player who will be getting a fair few chances this term.
Matthijs de Ligt - CB - Tottenham - £15M (25M)
He's going to be a wonderful back-up partner with Davinson Sanchez who will replace the first choice-partnership of Alderweirald and Vertonghen in a few years. He is an exquisite acquisition, especially for that price.
TRANSFERS OUT
Michel Vorm - GK - Al-Ahli - £2.7M
Jonathan De Bie - GK - Billericay Town - Loan
Fernando Llorente - ST - Newcastle United - £1M
In a 1 striker formation with Harry Kane, he was never going to get the opportunity, especially after the signing of Divock Origi on loan. We also have an injured Vincent Janssen and maturing 16 year old academy player Troy Parrott both ready to fight for a chance in the team.
Moussa Sissoko - CM - AS Monaco - £12M
He never really suited the type of player I was looking for and it was good to get him off the wage bill and help sanction the signing of homegrown talent Jadon Sancho.
Kieran Trippier - RB - Man Utd - £27M
I would have rather sold off Aurier as he is not homegrown but unfortunately we could not entertain any offers for him so I decided to accept Man Utd's offer for Trippier. Since we had a very slim budget, the profit from the sale has gone towards the purchase of attacking homegrown talent Jadon Sancho. Thankfully we did not need to sign another right back as we had a very capable back up in Englishman Kyle Walker-Peters.
PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES
We've had a mixed pre-season but it was very good to get lots of experience against top teams and that will prepare us for our Champions League campaign. One player who stood out during pre-season was Lucas Moura and I intend to give him a good chance to impress me this term and hopefully he can put pressure on Son and Sancho's winger spots.
PRE-SEASON ODDS
Title Odds
The bookies have predicted a 4th spot finish in the EPL this season. Obviously if we want to crack top 2, we will have to maintain a strong level consistently throughout the season but I think we will put up a good fight against Chelsea for the 3rd spot. Let's not also forget that Man Utd have always been one of the big clubs and could also have a chance at cracking the top 4.
Golden Boot Odds
Following a breakout season at Liverpool, Salah has been made the favourites to defend his Golden Boot. Harry Kane is obviously our best chance of winning the award and if the team as a whole can have a good season, Harry Kane could be looking at more than the Golden Boot and hopefully go on to win the Top Player Award.
Top Player Odds
There are plenty of players tipped to win the Top Player Award but our two best shots at winning the award are hitman Harry Kane and playmaker Christian Eriksen who I believe will have a standout season.
Top Young Player Odds
Leroy Sane is tipped to win the Young Player Award as well as teammates Raheem Stirling and Bernardo Silva. Dele Alli is also in the mix and I can confirm that he is going to be playing in an advanced role this season.
Next Update: August & September 2018
Looch
A disastrous start to my reign as Tottenham manager as we only score 1 goal throughout 3 games. We started off badly with a 0-0 draw against Cardiff followed by a 3-1 loss against Newcastle away from home which might be the most impressive performance finished off with a 3-0 loss to Manchester United at home. It became clear the tactic I was using was not matching the true ability of our players and there was some tinkering to do.
LEAGUE TABLE
Understandably, our performances dropped us down to 20th in the league which might be the worst start to a league season in Tottenham history. I was determined something like this won't stop me in my mission for success at Tottenham Hotspur.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE & EFL CUP DRAW
We have been drawn in a fairly tough group for the Champions League but I believe it is a group we can get through and hopefully finish top of.
We face Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup which looks like a fairly straight forward task. Although I would've preferred playing teams in the other divisions to give our youngsters a chance, we at least get to test the depth of our squad.
SEPTEMBER 2018
We start off the month very strongly with a 4-2 win against Southampton followed by a clean sheet against Bournemouth. We then travel to Galatasaray for our first Champions League Group Stage match and unfortunately we fell to a 2-2 draw. We travel back to England in a tight match against Arsenal where Son leads us to a 3-2 victory. We finish off the month with 2 matches against Crysal Palace in the Carabao Cup and Premier League. They were both away matches and we got a 1-0 and 2-0 win. One thing I can conclude from this month is that Son is the real deal and I nearly considered selling him off to fund the purchase of Cengiz Under who was going to be our right winger since Jadon Sancho was going to become our left winger. Fortunately, since the international break, he has been firing on all cylinders and his goal to match ratio is 1 goal per game which is a very impressive stat. I am very proud of our successful tinkering this month and look forward to the successful months ahead of us.
MANAGER OF THE MONTH
We've won the manager of the month award in the month right after we got the worst start to the league season for Tottenham and got a team in the last spot after finishing 3rd place last season. Our ride so far has undoubtedly been rocky but I believe we have shown the foundations to succeed and we finally beat our first top-six team with a very tight 3-2 win over Arsenal which ended with an 89th-minute winner by Son.
LEAGUE TABLE
We've been so impressive that we have gone from 20th spot to 4th spot, although we do have a game in hand. Son has the highest average rating in the league and is tied top goalscorer alongside his team-mate Harry Kane.
Next Update: October & November 2018
tongey
it's actually quite a tough Champions League group with some giants in there! Best of Luck!
Looch
We start off the month with a tight but important 3-2 victory over Schalke only to fall to Chelsea 3-1 a few days later. A 2-0 win over Brighton prepares us for a 1-1 draw against Juventus. We end off the month with two consecutive 2-0 away wins where we get 3 points and advance to the 5th round of the EFL Cup. I would say it is a good month but there is always room for improvement as we had a struggle against the big teams.
LEAGUE TABLE
Following a solid month, we are now 5th with Son leading the race for the Golden Boot while Hugo Lloris is only trailing by 1 clean sheet in the Golden Glove race.
NOVEMBER 2018
Honestly, the month went alright but in terms of performances, we were disappointing. Getting 3 goals in our draw against Man City is by far our best result of the month as we succumbed to a 5-1 loss to Juventus and a goalless draw against Watford before fighting for 2 wins that should've been easier.
LEAGUE TABLE
Following this bad month, Son dropped out of the Golden Boot race as he suffered an injury although we still remain 5th for now.
Next Update: December & January 2018/19
Looch
The toughest and most-packed month in the year is December as our team faces 7 Premier League matches as well as continental and domestic cup competition. We start this month off with a 2-0 win over Huddersfield follow by an abysmal 2-1 and 4-1 loss to West Ham and Liverpool, respectively. Following those poor performances, we hit a good patch with a 2-1 win over Schalke followed by a 3-1 win over Leicester. We win on penalties against Burnley in the Carabao Cup and then proceed to draw with Cardiff and then beat Burnley 4-0. The last match against Wolves where we lost 1-0 sums up our performances in November and December.
LEAGUE TABLE
Our league position of 7th is a reflection of our performances in the league. There are a few positives to take from this as Son is 3rd in the Golden Boot race as he has registered 10 goals in the league this season which in turn has got him 3 player of the match awards. Hugo Lloris is still showing fine form in the Golden Glove race with his 9 clean sheets to date.
JANUARY 2019
January is also a very packed month and although we were undefeated, we registered lots of draws as it took us until the last game of the month to get more than 1 goal in a match. We registered 3 1-1 draws against Newcastle, Leicester and Man Utd. We continue our Carabao campaign by beating Leicester on penalties and advancing to the final without the need for a goal over the first two legs. Our FA Cup campaign is still steady with a few kind draws but we would be lucky to even stay in this division with only a 1-0 win over Preston and a 0-0 draw against Sheffield. Sancho and Origi finish off Bournemouth in our final match of the month.
LEAGUE TABLE
Our league position has improved as we now sit 6th but unfortunately, there are only 14 games to close the 5 point gap between Man City, who are currently 4th. Unfortunately, due to our performances, Son and Lloris have dropped out of the top 3 for the Golden Boot and Golden Glove race, respectively.
Next Update: Youth Intake Update
Looch
Nothing too major except for the fact that Robbie Scullion looks like a very high potential player and I look forward to awarding him a few games for the rest of the season. He is an advanced playmaker who could potentially replace Dele Alli's role there one day. The 16 year-old Englishman can also operate as a deep-lying playmaker and could get more matches at an earlier age since Eriksen is a few years older than Alli and his natural fitness is not as high as Dele's.
Next Update: February & March 2019
Looch
We appear to have a great month filled with lots of goals. We beat Arsenal 3-0 and follow it up with a 2-0 win over Sheffield United. Our worst performance of the month is our 2-2 draw against a jubilant Crystal Palace and we continue our FA Cup campaign with a 1-0 win over Aston Villa. Although Harry Kane's goal isn't enough to salvage a draw against Real Madrid, we win our first piece of silverware under Tottenham with a 3-2 win over Arsenal in extra time. We end off our month with an important 3 points against Brighton.
LEAGUE TABLE
We currently sit 6th with the chance to overtake Bournemouth thanks to our game in hand.
MARCH 2019
We start off the month of March positively recording a 3-2 win over Everton before beating Man City 2-1 thanks to a Harry Kane 93rd minute winner. We then travel to Madrid and put up a good fight, but defensively it just wasn't enough as we crashed out thanks to our 4-2 loss. We seem to lose a bit of our form as the month is ended off with a concerning 1-0 win over Blackburn and a 0-0 draw against relegation candidates, Fulham.
LEAGUE TABLE
We're 4th in the table and with 8 matches left to go, we remain 4 points behind Chelsea and 3 points behind Man City, assuming we won our game in hand.
Next Update: April & May 2019
Looch
Thankfully we have secured a new contract which runs for 3 more years until 2022.
APRIL 2019
We had a fairly pleasing month following our disappointing 0-0 draw with Watford as we beat Man City 2-0, and recorded 3-1 and 3-2 victories over Huddersfield and West Ham, respectively. Our home match against Liverpool was probably our best of the season thanks to a Harry Kane double which got us the 4-1 win. Unfortunately, fatigue may have been an issue as we were unable to complete the comeback against Chelsea in our 4-3 loss but we made up for it with a 1-0 win over Leicester.
LEAGUE TABLE
Thanks to Son's increased game time following his injury during the Asian Cup, he officially has the highest average rating in the league and thankfully that was enough for us to break into the top 4.
FINAL DAY
We somehow marched our way to 3rd spot despite being in a battle for top 7 at a stage of the season. I also believe I have finally figured out a consistent tactic that works against all statures of teams, as shown by our 3-0 win over Burnley.
MAY 2019
We've shown to have a very good month and avoided a potential obstacle as were were 0-0 during the 82nd minute but 3 more goals in the next 10 minutes was enough to beat the team we would later go on to beat during the FA Cup final. Two 3-0 wins to end the league season makes me very hopeful that we will win the league title next season.
FA CUP TRIUMPH
We've completed the double this season as we won both domestic cup competitions and our 2-0 win over Man City was very important for us leading up to when we lifted our 2nd trophy so far.
Next Update: 2019 End Of Season Awards
Looch
Harry Kane was voted our Player Of The Season as he barely beat Jadon Sancho to the award. Jadon also ended out winning the Goal Of The Season and Signing of the Season while Davinson Sanchez took out Young Player Of The Season.
SEASON REVIEW
An impressive season for us as we tasted success in both of the domestic cups, made the knockout stages in the Champions League and finished 3rd place in the EPL. There is still lots to improve on but not a bad first season in charge.
SQUAD DYNAMICS
Our squad dynamics is good as both the dressing room atmosphere and managerial support are solid. Our team leaders are Vertonghen, Lloris and Kane. Hopefully, we can mould Kane into our captain soon.
CONFIDENCE REVIEW
The board are pleased with our management of the club. In particular, they are very pleased with our tactics and dressing room atmosphere.

Next Update: Pre-Season 2019
Looch
Nils Mortimer - RW - Barcelona - £875K
Adnan Januzaj - RW - Real Sociedad - £20M
We were in need of another right winger following the departures of Lamela and Moura. Januzaj fits the home-grown bill and had just come off the back of an impressive season at Sociedad where he got 6 goals and 10 assists in the league in only 26 matches.
Predrag Rajkovic - GK - Maccabi Tel-Aviv - £2.5M
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic - CM - Lazio - £65M
In the 2nd half ot the season, we were tinkering with playing a box-to-box instead of a defensive midfielder and especially after Wanyama left who was filling the defensive midfielder role in the first half of the season, we needed a new box-to-box midfielder. Sergej fills that void perfectly as he is a monster of a physical player which complements his strong mental game and his outstanding technical game. He's tall which makes him great at heading, he's got amazing endurance and work rate, he can also create chances (if he doesn't convert the chances himself) and although his weakest part is defending, which he is still very good at, we needed an all-round player but this is a player who has essentially every strength possible. He is going to be that cog in the midfield that makes a huge difference to our season.
Lucas Hernandez - LB - Atletico - £55M (£60M)
A new left-back was in need following Danny Rose's departure and Hernandez is very skilled in defence which complements his strong physical attributes.
Sergio Rico - GK - Sevilla - £2.5M
Arthur - CM - Barcelona - Loan
This was a great coup for us as our squad depth is basically limited to our starting line-up and young players with Championship ability. Hopefully, this is a step in the right direction for our squad depth as we now have Ceballos, Arthur, Milinkovic-Savic, Alli, Winks and Eriksen as options in our midfield trio.
Alban Lafont - GK - Fiorentina - £15M (£20M)
Following our club captain's departure, Hugo Lloris, we bought a compatriot of his who has a fairly similar style and is a talented goalkeeper. He has played four full league seasons in the top divisions of France and Italy yet he is only 20 so far. I believe he can develop into a club legend.
Dani Ceballos - CM - Real Madrid - Loan
Same situation here as was with Arthur and I hope he had a solid season.
TRANSFERS OUT
Lucas Moura - RW - West Ham - £20M
Eric Dier - CDM - Man Utd - £52M
It was a big offer I could not turn down that went towards our transfer kitty and helped us sign improved and better players.
Vincent Janssen - ST - West Brom - £7.5M
Erik Lamela - RW - Watford - £14M
Toby Alderweireld - CB - Crystal Palace - £45M
He was aging and coming towards the end of his contract and it was time to let De Ligt and Sanchez step up as our main centre-back partnership.
Victor Wanyama - CDM - Huddersfield - £38M
Danny Rose - LB - Chelsea - £22.5M
He was starting to age a bit and I felt it would be good to sign a younger and better player.
Jack Roles - CM - APOEL - Free
Hugo Lloris - GK - Napoli - £25M
Our ageing number 1 goalkeeper has been moved in a French sweeper-keeper "trade" with the Serie A where we bought young rising star Albon Lafont to be our long-term Lloris replacement.
Predrag Rajkovic - GK - Porto - Loan
Cameron Carter-Vickers - CB - Saint-Ettiene - Loan
Paulo Gazzaniga - GK - Chelsea - £5M
Japhet Tanganga - CB - Exeter - Loan
Joshua Onomah - CAM - Birmingham - Loan
PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES
We started off the English leg of our pre-season with a goalless draw against Man City before beating their local rivals, Man Utd, in a tight 2-1 win. We feel to Liverpool 4-1 before recovering in our 1-0 win over Charlton before succumbing to draws against Chelsea and Everton. We lost by a goal to Bayern before beating their rivals, Dortmund, in a 3-2 goalfest. Real Madrid invited us to participate in Sergio Ramos' testimonial, a few days before our Super Cup match against Liverpool, which we accepted to and a Cristiano Ronaldo double put the match to bed.
PRE-SEASON ODDS
Title Odds
Liverpool have been made favourites to defend their EPL title while Man City are tipped to improve on their 4th place finish from last season and we're predicted to finish 3rd again.
Golden Boot Odds
Mane is favourites to take away the Golden Boot but Kane is also someone tipped to watch out for.
Top Player Odds
Salah is the media's favourite to win the Top Player award while Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen are also in the mix.
Top Young Player Odds
Dele Alli is favourites to win the award and Sancho is within the mix.

TinakoFM
F.E.
Your summer transfer activity definitely improved the team, hopefully this season you will compete for the crown
Looch
I'm a bit skeptical if he can continue last season's form in the Prem but I have faith in him.
Looch
I'm happy with my transfer business as I believe my starting line-up is quite strong but, honestly I am a bit worried about our squad depth, especially in attack as it is just Kane, Parrott (strikers) and Son (hopefully his international commitments don't mess around with his season again), Sancho and Januzaj on the wing and maybe Dele if I really need to use him out wide.
F.E.
Personally I tend to have narrow squads because I hate when players cry every couple of days about playing time, so your squad depth seems right to me, but it’s a matter of how you like it so I hope it’ll be enough for you
Looch
At least my tactic isn't too intense and taxing on my players.
Looch
We started off well with our first piece of silverware, the Community Shield, although some people don't officially count that as silverware and obviously I want more than that, I want a Premier League and a Champions League title (I would at least like to go far in that competition). Our month ended with 3 1-0 wins over Newcastle, Fulham and Southampton while we had a 1-1 draw against Leicester courtesy of a Maddison own goal.
LEAGUE TABLE
We're 3rd as we are 2 points off Man City. Lafont already has 3 clean sheets and he looks like the real deal.
MANAGER OF THE MONTH
We've month manager of the month for September, one for our individual trophy cabinet.
SEPTEMBER 2019
A decent month, especially defensively as we only conceded won goal and had 4 clean sheet wins over Huddersfield, Wolves, Bury and Crystal Palace.
LEAGUE TABLE
We're top of the table following some tight wins. Lafont has 6 clean sheets in 7 matches and I believe he's going to quickly develop into the best goalie in the world. Amazing statistics here.
Next Update: October & November 2019
Looch
October started off on a massive high as we recorded a memorable 4-0 thrashing over German giants Bayern Munich before succumbing to a 1-1 draw with Manchester United. It was a tough start following the international break as we were up against Liverpool and unfortunately, we only managed to get on the scoresheet thanks to Milner's own goal in our 2-1 loss. We then recorded wins over Club Brugge and Barnsley but disappointingly we lost to Arsenal 4-0.
LEAGUE TABLE
We're currently 5th in the league table after 10 games and Lafont is impressing as he has already racked up 6 clean sheets.
NOVEMBER 2019
November was a good month as we beat our London rivals, Chelsea 1-0 before beating Club Brugge, Watford and Bournemouth before recording a 1-1 draw against Napoli before ending the month with a 4-1 smashing over Leeds in the Premier League.
LEAGUE TABLE
We are now 3rd in the league table as we trail Man City and Liverpool by 5 points while Lafont now has 8 clean sheets and is currently the leading favourite for the Golden Glove.
Next Update: December & January 19/20
TinakoFM
Looch
We started off the month with wins over West Ham and Millwall in the Prem before succumbing to a heavy 5-1 loss to Bayern in our Champions league group. Thankfully we picked up our form with a pleasing 4-3 win over Man City. Unfortunately, our form continued to drop as our weaker team got knocked out by Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup before succumbing to a draw against Newcastle and a loss to Everton although we did get an important 3 points against Villa.
LEAGUE TABLE
We sit 3rd in the table trailing the leaders by only 2 points. Kane is the leading player in the Golden Boot race while Lafont closely trails De Gea in the Golden Glove race.
EUROPEAN GOLDEN BOY
Our own, Jadon Sancho has been named European Golden Boy following his impressive performances this year with 13 goals and 14 assists.
ASIAN FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR
Son has come away with the award as expected.
BALLON D'OR
Salah has taken the award edging out against Cristiano Ronaldo and Lewandowski
WORLD TEAM X11 OF THE YEAR
No Spurs players were included in the line-up that consisted mainly of Barca and Real Madrid players.
JANUARY 2020
The first game of the month was against Fulham where youth prospect Troy Parrott sealed the win before also contributing 2 goals in our FA Cup win against Chesterfield. We then had a disappointing 2-1 loss against Leicester and draws against Southampton and Huddersfield although we did continue to advance in the FA Cup thanks to our 4-0 win over Shrewsbury.
LEAGUE TABLE
Following our disappointing month, we now sit 4th despite only being 3 points behind 1st place although Man Utd still have another game in hand and could take a 6 point lead on us. Kane is still the top goalscorer with a tally of 16 but Lafont has fallen out of the top 3 for the Golden Glove award.
Next Update: February & March 2020
Looch
We started off the month with a solid win over Wolves before drawing with Crystal Palace. We then had a stretch of 3 games which involved 2 large wins over Red Star but we got knocked out of the FA Cup by West Brom on penalties. We then ended off the month with a loss to Liverpool and a win over Arsenal in the Premier League.
LEAGUE TABLE
We sit 4th in the table as Eriksen has made his way to 3rd on the assist table.
MARCH 2020
We began the month off with a win over Newcastle in the first leg of the Europa League before succumbing to a 3-0 loss against Chelsea before drawing with Newcastle in the 2nd leg which was enough for us to advance to the next round of the Europa League. We beat Watford before the international break which may have put us off in our 3-3 draw against Bournemouth.
LEAGUE TABLE
We dropped down to 5th place but Kane now has 21 goals and is the frontrunner for the Golden Boot.
Next Update: April & May 2020
TinakoFM
Here's hoping you can secure Champions League qualification!
Looch
April started off with 2 disappointing draws against Man Utd and their rivals Leeds. We got our only wins of the month in the Europa League quarterfinal against Marseille as we fell to a 5-2 loss against West Ham and a horrible goalless draw against Millwall before managing to get a goal in our heavy 5-1 loss to Man City. We ended off the month with a draw against Roma in the first leg of the Europa League.
LEAGUE TABLE
Our month finished in 5th place as Kane is still the leading goalscorer.
MAY 2020
May was a solid month despite our loss to Everton at home. We smashed Roma to advance to the Europa League final where we beat Fiorentina 3-0 10 days after we finished our Premier League campaign with a 3-0 win over Aston Villa.
LEAGUE TABLE
We finished the Premier League season in 6th place behind Everton while Kane got overtaken at the last minute by Eden Hazard as the Chelsea star takes home the Golden Boot. Januzaj did climb up to 3rd on the assist but overall it was a disappointing season in the league.
DOUBLE
We've got a double this season following our Community Shield and Europa League wins.
EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL
We had a solid win in the Europa League where our English players secured us the win with their goals.
