Yeah I can see it doing that, slowly the game will die.
All I can say at the moment is at least stuff like logo's lasts so once you have them you're ok, its the facepacks and kits that are going to suffer.

I'm on a Mac and I've put the face packs, kits and logos in a graphics folder located where Mons has shown, but it still isn't working. Any advice to help fix the problem

Try changing skins then back to the one you're using.

Right, it's like a fictional Sunday League Football Manager Simulator from then on - I mean you can always imagine you're managing Liverpool, United or Arsenal in the game you paid for, although you're not. Just like you attached four little twigs to a pinecone as a four-year-old and pretended it was a sheep or cow. You're in charge of a fake club with fake kits, random fake logo and, I suppose, soon enough only random players.
The essence of football really is waning because the things we love are turned into nothing but business. Sports used to be part culture and part business/livelyhood. Nowadays its very soul is been rooted out to make space for maximised profits.
We can't all (most of us) be real pro players or managers and, apparently, no longer can we even dream or simulate what it would be like, because of copyrights (=money & greed & poorly implemented laws and regulations).

Can I see screenshots of where you've placed your facepack and kits?

I think i've figured it out, normally when I download on Mac it automatically extracts when I put it in a folder, but I don't think it extracted this time. I'll do it manually and see if it works.

Can I have a screenshot of the properties of your logos and players folder? Just so I'm sure that both packs are entirely included in your files
Finally, what do you get in-game when you look at a player (e.g. Harry Kane)? Do you see an empty space or the black default face?

The graphics folders is different this year from the FM19 version - are you putting it in the correct new location? If yes, can we have a screenshot of it please?
