Well promotion was expected by the board and we didn't manage it, but somehow after another meeting I've to keep my job. In fact I blagged it that well I also got another years contract out of it. Time to get rid of the high earners as the wage budget has been a few grand over since I got here and to bring in my own players. My Colchester career starts now!

Awful month where we really struggled and also see our unbeaten run end after 34 games. But the win over Crewe means we have gained promotion, well done to the board for sticking with me
