Perhaps someone could create a video that explains how to do it in the modern era.

You would have to extract them yourself from the resource archiver manually and rename the files yourself which, considering that they are gathered in hundreds of separate folders by team, may take a while.
If there are particular clubs and/or players whose SI cuts you think are considerably better, then I would be more than happy to have a look at them with a view to adding them to the megapack.
P.S. The resource archiver video I've found may be from 2011, but the process is remarkably similar, I would even say identical. It's just the skin layout which has changed, but everything else from the path and location to the process itself appears to be the same.

I'll have a look at them then

I'd already compiled high quality source images for Chester myself so I've put them up as a request and I'll work on them next.
FYI if you're planning on cleaning up SI images for any English team from Championship down to non-league, would you mind letting me know first? Only because I have collected sources where I can for most teams in these leagues to work my way through; a lot of SI cuts are missing bits of neck/ear making them difficult to clean up so I might be able to help with some better source images

Outstanding work
If anybody brings up a need for a particular club's cuts to be updated, I'll tag you in and we can take a decision as to whether you can source better images or whether I can clean the SI cuts
mons
You ask, we deliver.
(Well, @HRiddick did, but let's not let facts get in the way of a feelgood story )

I believe it's because his cut-out is not showing in FM 2020.

Get a good source image (i.e. front-facing and ideally with a clear background), and crop it in Paint so that only the face is showing. Then put it into remove.bg and save the resulting preview; should be a decent cut by then already
Johnny_05
Thanks bro!
It was too simple!
mons
It is, isn't it?
Johnny_05
In this FM, it's not possible to have our cut-out's image in the coach profile?
mons
I believe there's a way to do it by default when creating your manager avatar, but I haven't been able to find out how.

As the Scottish leagues are fully licensed, most of the default faces are up to date, while the majority of Scottish-based players in the megapack are out of date.
For example, Calum Butcher at Dundee United still has his face from his Spurs days, he left Spurs in 2011.

I'll see what I can do
Side Splitting Pass
Ryan I posted a Dundee United teampack last weekend. As for Scotland in general by my reckoning teampacks have now been cut for over half the Scottish league teams in the last month or so. Many of these will be included in the next megapack update but you can find them all in the teampacks release thread.
There's still a few requests outstanding and I'm working on request packs for a few more teams. When that's done I'll have a look at SI's cut-outs for any remaining Scottish teams (I estimate about 6 of them) and clean up the cut-outs f they are good enough.
Hopefully once that's all done there should only be a handful of Scottish League teams without packs this season.

Awesome, thanks mate.
