February 2023
League Two // Leyton Orient // Home
Lineup - Griffiths, Titov, Onoabhagbe, Taylor, Garret, Okansen, Morton, Watt (Kirby), Ponticelli (Alves), Molyneux, McFarlane (Thomas)
An even match kicks us off this month, and the points were rightfully shared. We did enough to win but probably didn't deserve to if that makes sense. A cracking strike from Morton equalised for us.

League Two // Walsall // Home
Lineup - Griffiths, Johnson (Titov), Oboabhagbe, Bainbridge (Taylor), Hamalainen, Adebiyi, Kirby (Watt), Okansen, Ponticelli, Soleman, McFarlane
The big game this month came against fellow playoff hopefuls Walsall. We totally outplayed them and I'm ecstatic with how it went. McFarlane showed them what he's all about as he put in a MOM performance! Jaako Okansen, grabbed his first for the club and we just played really really well. Walsall didn't know what hit them! Happy days!

League Two // Stevenage // Home
Lineup - Griffiths, Titov, Onoabhagbe, Taylor, Garrett, Okansen (Kirby), Morton, Watt, Ponticelli (Alves), Soleman (Molyneux), McFarlane
Our second draw of the month, and a game we didn't really do much in. It was pretty poor from both teams and a point each is the end result.

League Two// Carlisle United // Away
Lineup - Griffiths, Titov, Onoabhagbe, Garrett, Hamalainen, Okansen, Kirby, Watt, Ponticelli, Soleman (Molyneux), McFarlane (Ali Al-Hamadi) (Morton)
Our second goalless draw in as many games. At least we are keeping clean sheets but the lack of goals is concerning. I guess getting something from the game is important so we keep the points ticking over. A nasty injury to Ali Al-Hamadi ruined the game too as he is out of for a serious amount of time now.

League Two // Mansfield Town // Home
Lineup - Griffiths, Bainbridge, Onoabhagbe, Garrett, Taylor, Okansen, Morton (Kirby), Watt, Ponticelli (Alves), Soleman (Molyneux), McFarlane
You guessed it, another draw to end the month unbeaten which is something I guess. I can't help but feel like we need to win these games though! A cracking solo goal from Molyneux equalised for us and could well make the goal of the month shortlist.
You'd think an unbeaten month would propel us up the league, but draws don't do that I'm afraid. We've dropped to 10 points behind Cambridge who took a huge step to win the title this month. We're still in playoff contention and we just need to turn some draws into wins to keep us going. I'd hate to falter at the last hurdle with two months to go.
