Now is the time when we have to look at the team and see where we need to reinforce ourselves. In my opinion the team has been doing well, although we have been eliminated from the cups, we are in excellent form in the league and so I decided not to make many transfers.

Antonio went to a transfer looking to the future, I fully believe he will be a great legend in Newcastle. Svensson is a player who adds a lot of quality to the right side of the defense and will certainly be an asset to the squad.

Fernandez was dissatisfied with the club and decided to leave. Florian, I decided to give him game time, so i loaned him and already the krafth with the arrival of Jonas Svensson lost his place and was also loaned so can play. And these are the exchanges in the winter market.

No surprise losing the Carabao Cup Semi Finals, a valient effort to even get that far first season, however thats a shocker against QPR!

League is looking solid to date.

It's true, we play very good at the carabao cup. All players are to be congratulated for reaching so far. And the other cup is to forget .. but also luck was not on our side.

Already the championship, was a spectacular, see how it went.

What can I say about this? The goal was to stay in the middle of the table but over time and with the good football that the team was practicing the reality of being in the top 6 was increasingly. But I never thought of qualifying the team for the champions league. It was without a doubt a championship and a year to remember for newcastle fans.

@tongey Yes it's true, but like i say to r96skinner i have some fear, I feel that a europe league would be better suited for our growth. Joeliton was undoubtedly a quality player for us. I hope not to lose him at the beginning of the season. (If he did the same in real ..)

Due to our success last season, I was approached by Seville. The management, afraid of losing me, decided to offer me a new contract, which I accepted without any doubt, so I am pleased to continue working for the future of this club.

No doubt it has been a more demanding season, the teams are stronger and know a little more about our way of playing. Even so, we are fighting for European qualification. These are our league results:

After the group's outcome I thought, we're screwed. Theoretically we had no way to pass the group. But the truth is that the team showed courage and willingness, played pure football. Without doubt, the best moment of the team, see this:

Last year we made a good journey but unfortunately we stayed in the quarterfinals, this year we are in the quarterfinals again and as you can see luck has really been on our side. eliminating two big opponents

True, the team's effort in the Champions League has been noticeable in the league. Yet we are in a place where everything can happen.

I am no longer surprised that he is scoring, I am surprised that I have not yet received a proposal from a big club ..

Season 2020/2021

Market Open - January - Mid Season

It is January and the market has opened. Unfortunately, I have noticed that my wingers are often injured and also slightly below their capacity. So I moved to the contraction of a player who has been up in his club. I felt I needed to get someone into this position, and that's what I did. I have also the entry of two more players, one to be a substitute and the other a backup if something happens. No big expenses because the funds were not many and most went to hiring the new winger.

I couldn't count on losing Coates but the truth is that he was not having a good season, nor was a starter but was always a good player we had in the bank and so forced me to go to the market. Riccardo Orsolini I believe will be a great player for us, he was in high at his club and I believe the same will happen to us. And these were our transfers. In principle I have only planned 1 transfer and 1 output .. but things are not always as we want. Confidence remains the same or more!

Looking very good in the Champions League, a favorable draw too! Hopefully second half of the season can see the league form pick up a bit now the schedule hopefully won't be quite as hectic.

@Dan In the Champions League we were brilliant. No doubt it will be marked for the team .. but the constant games on top of each other has been terrible to manage. Thanks again for your support.

End Of the Season

This will undoubtedly be a remarkable season for the club as well as for me. For the club because it made its first Carabao cup conquest and also for the remarkable track in the Champions League (Quarter Finals) and for me (besides these two) the difficulty in managing things. Lots of games and little rest time. It was undoubtedly a difficult year but at the same time rewarded.

Honestly, I wish I could have made a much better league but it was really hard. Joeliton was once again our best player but this year sharing with new transfer, Cuisance. They were brilliant and being the pillars of this team.

Champions League was undoubtedly a surprise to me. After winning that tough group we still managed to reach the quarterfinals, where we were eventually eliminated by Man City. In the first leg we still managed to beat them but in the second leg it was simply a bad day for us. With that victory in the first leg, we could still dream. But it was not possible. It is then the mark of a great club that has returned to the big stages.

History was made for Newcastle. The first EFL cup for the club!!

True, we did it. We went determinated and stronger than all. Newcastle's wonderful game against Man utd thus dictated a historic victory for us.

As you noticed, Sean Longstaff left the club, a very sad for me. He was a player I liked a lot but his value and willingness to go to the spurs could not refuse. But I believe that Kana, would take his place well.
