hi guys,

I've downloaded fm20 for the first time and I'm having a tough time.
I've found it straight forward in previous versions but cant figure this one out.

I have placed everything where I should but I cant find an option anywhere in the game or in preferences etc to enable any of it and none of it seems to be working.

would someone mind helping me please?

cant exactly work out what you are asking? you say I downloaded FM 20 for the first time do you mean the game or the live update file here??

take a look at this please

Do you have a Mac or a PC? A bit more details of which files you mean would help, including screenshots if possible to make it clearer what you mean

I’ve managed to get the editor data files to work
Now. But the issue I’m having now is with graphics, extracted them all to the right place and unticked cache and reloaded skin but they’re still not working. On Mac btw. The other thing not working is the huge database option but I believe this is going to be the same issue as the logos as it’s placed in graphics/panels?

You would do well to read installation instructions before assuming everything's remained the same from FM19

From FM20 onwards, there's been a substantial change to how Mac FM documents are stored. Previously the files would automatically go in the Documents folder here:

Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Documents/Sports Interactive

Now the files will instead appear in the following location:

Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive

By default this folder is hidden, so to access you need to do as follows:

Open Finder
Click ‘Go’ from the menubar
Press and hold down the ‘Option’ (Alt) key
This will bring up the ‘Library’, click to enter then go to ‘Application Support’ -> ‘Sports Interactive’ -> ‘Football Manager 2020’

Let's have screenshots of (a) where you originally put the files and (b) where you have now put the files.
