Didnt the BNP win their only seat in Bury? Or formed in Bury. Something like that.

Bury isn't Burnley.

Won three seats in Burnley's council back in 2002 if I'm not mistaken

Considering your ridiculous injury list, do you think it was right to sack Grayson?

Bearing in mind most of those have only got injured in the past week since Grayson left, it's a pretty moot point. We'd had injury trouble, true, but that's still no excuse for going 12 games without a win with increasingly spineless performances. I know we lost 3-0 last week, but at least we didn't capitulate and got undone by a superior tactical performance.

Fair enough, whos your choice for next manager? I've heard Megson was sat with your chairman at the weekend, if you do end up with him be prepared for some awful football, loves the long ball game and he's a bit of an arse

Megson was at the game, but not in a capacity linked to Huddersfield Town.

As for the new manager, I know who I want, but it's whether he'd come. Nigel Adkins' stock is high, and he'd probably be able to get a job in the Premier League if he hung on a bit. I wouldn't have minded Billy Davies (arse he may be, but he's a very capable manager), though there's every chance he'll be available in a week or two if we're patient. All kinds of whispers have gone around about Nicky Butt, Paolo Di Canio, Graeme Jones, and even Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. But who it'll be - I don't know.

And Alex Smithies has been named captain for tomorrow. Great to see a Town academy product as captain.

Lenell's efforts are terrific and you'll hardly find any striker who is more willed and determined to score but unfortunately his finsihing is non-league standard. One of his last actions in a Bury shirt was missing an open goal at MK Dons.,

I thought Elding was at PNE?

Elding was at Preston on loan but they didn't take him on any longer after his loan was up (no surprise). He's now been released by us as of yesterday and is off to Ireland to play for Sligo I hear. Journeyman.

Completely undeserved win away to Aldershot, but I couldn't care less! Needed to win and it was scrappy as hell and we rode our luck so much but we got the job done. Quietly confident we'll stay up.

Graham Westley's transfers do make me laugh sometimes.

Drew 2-2 at Brentford. Undeserved if you ask me but makes up for the couple of times we were unlucky in the last few months. Showed some great character and came back from falling behind twice through goals from Tom Soares (first for us) and Nicky Ajose.

Our game in hand against Sheff United looks crucial more than ever, We win, 2 points behind Oldham, we lose, 5 points behind them. Roll on Tuesday!!

Another good win for Rovers today. In the last four games the only goal we've conceded was when Goodwillie gave away that penalty against Brighton in stoppage time. Reminds me of when Big Sam first came in - tighten up first, and results will fellow.

Hope Rhodes gets given the goal. If so, he'll equal a club record for the number of consecutive league games scored in if, lethal.

Really, really good point. Probably should have been three after their keeper somehow got a free-kick after dropping the ball at a Town player's feet under little pressure, and they should have been down to 10 after a swinging elbow caught Vaughan full in the face early in the second half, but we were the better side, created better chances, and kept a very good forward line quiet. Sadly, the bastard teams playing the sides below us all took the afternoon off so the point appears to not matter a jot.

Cracking up-turn in form for Bristol City of late, sadly all the other teams at the bottom have won when we've won. If we carry on like this we hopefully will be safe from relegation. We need some loanees in sharpish.

We have Brian Howard in on trial at the moment. Unconvinced that he'll be able to do a job.

We signed some Congoloese striker on non-contract terms today. Jeanvon Yulu-Matondo also knwon as "Yulu" (inb4 YOLO jokes). Played for Brugge and Westerlo in Belgium, Roda Kerkrade in the Netherlands and Levski Sofia in Bulgaria.

Imagine his chant "GIVE US A J......."

I'm sure he's carrying some form of injury. He's been trying to talk up a move back here but Flicker has come out and said he's injured at the minute, so it's a no-go.

An absolute beast in my opinion. Did the ugly work, always gave his all for the club and the fans and it was an absolute joy to see him play and he is the type of player we've been missing in recent seasons. Also a very likeable guy off the pitch and someone really nice to talk to.

Glad his career has been progressing so well Mansfield -> Bury -> Orient -> Barnsley. Birmingham were after him a while ago, weren't they? Anyway, good to see him doing well at your lot.

Another 1-1 draw with Brighton tonight, they got a penalty again. We haven't conceded from open play for 5 games now, I think. At Ewood it was Goodwillie's fault but sounds like it was a dodgy decision tonight, will have to see it for myself though.

Would be a very good result in isolation but we could easily have had 6 points off Brighton instead of just 2, Middlesbrough won too so slipping away from the play-offs

Lost 2-0. Not good enough just not good enough. We had the world in our hands and we fucked it up. This loss doesn't really make things better for us. Five points from safety and our next four games are at home to Coventry, away at Notts on Sky, away at Swindon and at home to Crawley. Hardly encouraging
