I've read this simbol rappresent the four landvaettir, the four land wights. So seems to be only a patriotic tribute to the traditions of the country

Some countries have one badge for National Federation and another on the shirt of the national team. Like Spain and Germany. We don't have a clear rule about what we use at the metallic logo project

I knew. Untill now Iceland used the official federation logo on their shirts, now they have changed brand from Errea to Puma and they show this new logo so i don't know if could be the new logo or not and apparently not seems to be this one

They still have Errea as a sponsor on the website, and don't have images/news of the Puma shirt, so they might be waiting to release that first.

As I suggested earlier they have confirmed this as the new logo for the national team (and not for association), they will keep the logo for KSI. So for now this is an alternativ.

Two Distinctive Trademarks
