But what I noticed were a lot of running themes in them and was curious why come of these combinations would potentially be more effective than they "should" be?
Some popular combinations:
- WIngbacks behind Wingers
- Shadow Striker + Advanced Forward
- All BPDs for center backs
I also notice a TON of instructions in them (play out of defense, run at defense, work into box, etc). I assume these are more done to try to be busy and "confuse" the AI, but that's just speculation
Just curious why some unusual combinations are what works so well for cheesing, or if it's simply because they Are unusual combinations and thus are harder for a ME to account for?

Popular examples of meme tactics are honestly Knapp's. No offense to him, he's good at making them, but they'd designed with cheesing the ME in mind more than anything else
Just curious what makes the common meme tactic pairings so effective compared to how you'd expect them to function (SS+AF for another example)
