dear all,

can someone share a screen shot of his explorer mac os window of the ipad please ?

i don't understand how sould i name the main folder ? pictures or graphics ?

Hi Matt,

ok for pictures then, but do i create a folder graphics ? or just put logos faces etc into the pictures folder ?

No need to create a graphics folder. Just have pictures folder and place logos, faces into the pictures folder

It works them all in separate folders, faces, logos, kits etc

Makes it easier to update if you change anything, and makes reloading the cache quicker

Yes all my PC games graphics moved easily, faces kits logos city packs stadiums etc

I really can’t get my logos kits or faces to appear in game. I’ve attached a photo of my iPad FMT structure. I think I’ve done it right. So in the Pictures folder I’ve got sub folders of logos, kits, faces all in lower case.

I’ve done the clear cache in game and quit FMT app and opened it again but still new logos etc do not appear.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Aha I have managed to sort it! Had to add a skin and change to skin which forced the game to reload the cache. I'm guessing there's a problem with the in game clear cache button.

Hope you got it sorted. The dark grey skin for 2020 is excellent, allows the city pics to show as backgrounds.

Ok, I have some faces but not others I’d expect like Harry Kane...? Maybe the pack I got isn’t that good. I don’t have loads of free space on my iPad so does anyone know of a reasonable size pack that contains most English league faces?

Hi guys,

There seem to be a lot of questions here that aren't answered specifically and it'd be great to put this all to clear this all up for everyone First, the file path, which one is it.....

ROOT>Pictures>graphics>pictures>logos
ROOT>pictures>logos
ROOT>Pictures>logos
ROOT>graphics>pictures>logos

Lastly the "skin_config" file renaming, should it be 20.0.0, 20.1.4? The latest version according to app store is 20.4 so would it now be 20.4.0???

And is the file path for skins on the ROOT folder or under Pictures??

I have got an iPad Pro and it works!!!!!

To expand a little on the guide above

For this to work you have got to have at least loaded FMT once before you see the folders that the game contains in iTunes.

I followed the link to the korean website above and downloaded the following graphics pack. (Google Translate)

Graphics Pack

Download the Skins pack Skins Pack

extract them both so you can see the folder skins and graphics

Connect your iPad to your computer and open iTunes.
Click on the iPad icon in iTunes to show your the details about your device
Then in the list on the left click on file sharing - Same as you would the mobile version
Then in file explorer drag and drop the graphics folder over into file sharing on iTunes. iTunes will show a progress bar if its copy and may come up with this folder already exists do you want to replace.
Do the same with the skins folder.
Once everything has copied over unplug your iPad and open FMT18 on your iPad
Go to preferences under the overview tab there is the interface section. In the drop down for the skins you should see a lot more choices.
Select any one until you see the Author is reloadGraphics - You can choose your theme to whatever dark, retro or normal
Click save and then close FMT18
Once you reload it can take ages, just leave it. It's just reloading the cache of graphics.
You should have at least the correct badges, faces, kits, etc...
High Capacity Pack
Once I did that I found followed the guide to have high capacity pack that Different link (Again Google Translate) where I made an even bigger pack that showed the correct stadium pics, loads of faces, correct badges, trophies for everything but that is above 4.9Gb. Before you copy the folder I would delete FMT18 from your iPad and reinstall so its "fresh" maybe back up your game saves if you want to before hand. The only recommendation is don't download the 3d kits as it makes them look a little weird but it's no biggie if you do.

All you have to do is download the packs in individually and then create a folder structure below and then drop the contents of each you have download into the correct folder as stated above.

=======faces
=======kits
=======logos
=======pictures
=======|======stadiums
=======|======trophies

Once you have complied make sure you just drag and drop the graphics folder over. Not each individual folder. Don't forget to copy the skins folder again so you can change it again preferences to force the reload.

I have no credit in this just expanding on the guide to help others. The korean website is full of it I just can't speak korean but google can.

I have FMT20 and have downloaded the packs you have mentioned but they have given me some old badges, have you got a file for all the modern ones? Is this the high capacity pack you talk about it?

Also, to install the high capacity pack, do you have to delete FMT off of your iPad before downloading it. Firstly where is that pack as I can not find it on the Korean page it sends you to and secondly I'm really afraid of deleting it as I have had a lot of issues getting badges and pics already! Do you have to delete it?

And lastly, is there any way of getting the realtime for Juventus and the Brazilian teams?

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Hi,
I started with FMT on iPad mini 4, due to lack of time for the full version.
I sucessfully installed a logo pack, then tried to install facepacks with different sizes, 6 - 16 GB. Even after adding a the smallest facepack, I’m still just seeing the loading screen with the circle going round and round for hours and hours...
What is the maximum loading time I can expect? Is there any restriction for the iPad mini?

For someone who is looking to play FM Touch on iPad this year, it would be great to see some screenshots of your game showing off the added graphics. There isn't much content around to show how good FM can look on iPad.

I also assume the 30 min loading time for the game was just the first time you loaded the game and it doesn't take this long every time?

Correct it is just the first time of loading the skin.

The next restart is fine as everything is loaded.
