I can't believe I've been playing these games for over twenty years and only discovered this site now!

I recently just paid for the premium download and support service (for the page).
My question this evening is, if I add view only leagues, will this allow me to load more players on the game?

but you can do this too and in more detail by selecting a large DB and going into advanced options and setting up what you want

Having a view only league will not add any additional players at all to those loaded if the league were not loaded.
There are 2 ways to get more players loaded in your game:
a) Load playable leagues. This will add all players in the divisions loaded as well as important/relevant players in the countries close to it and in the same country
b) Choose a custom database when starting a new game. You can choose database size (defaults to small unless changed) and select players to be loaded for particular regions or countries or divisions or continents, depending on category. So if you started a game in England, you could load all players based in England, at clubs in the top 4 Scottish tiers and with Welsh clubs playing in continental competitions, for instance. A quick Google will give you more detail on how to do so and what you can and cannot do in this regard 🙂
