Hit by a car that set off too quickly at a junction when I was in front of her. I'm absolutely fine, was wearing gloves so don't have a graze to show for it, but the back wheel has buckled out of shape where she's hit it, badly enough that its got to be replaced.

It was a lovely woman who stopped immediately, checked if I was ok and gave me her details.

Truth be told she was more shaken up by the whole experience than I was.

Ahh that was nice of her to stop and check. Someone I know was clipped by a driver on a country lane and fell off his bike somehow, pretty bad cuts and bruises. The driver saw but drove off, the ignorant bastard.

Given the narrowness of the road and the fact I was laying across it there wasn't much room for her to drive anywhere.

But yeah, so far her only concern has been if I was ok and she hasn't complained at all about replacing the wheel. So unless she suddenly starts being a dick 'fair play' sums it up nicely.

She could have yes but its no different to having an accident with another car and you rarely have people drive of after car crashes.

I've been hit 3 times and only once has the person stopped and given me their details. Coincidentally it was the only time I've been hit by a woman

Around my town there are so many cyclist that dont wear lights/hi vis etc when its dark.

Not surprised about SMIDSY when people are cycling round in the dark wearing black!

Need to get a haircut tomorrow but I'm tired of getting the side + back of my head shaved like normal so I'd like to try something different.
