Skinning Question

Hi All

I was just wondering if anyone could help at all, I Am trying to create my own skin but I am having issues with the colours in the player information bar(I would like them to match the team colours) If anyone has an idea I'd really appreciate the help.

how do you create your own skin? or is there a way to just change the color in the original skin? so it can be brigther?
