It's great that you're nudging the collars up, but a few pixels at the bottom of the canvas are enough because nudging it so far up makes the player look slightly hunch-baked.
If you're having to tweak source images so much, however, especially in cases where the current cut is very similar, quite recent and of a good quality, it begs the question as to whether it's worth cutting at all in the first place, frankly…
