Close the game. Go to
Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2021\data

Save the files you are going to overwrite first, simatch and simatchviewer-pc in case you dont like the sounds file

Then place the ones from the unzipped file in there.

Restart the game, clear cache

Hey, Thank you so much for this.. So I installed it and used it over 5 to 7 games approximately and there are errors or bugs occurring like 2 commentators speaking at the same time, anyone else have this bug too?

used on 1 game, just the 2020 file, same size and base date
same flaws of multiple voices saying same comment-Rubbish

Glad kosic got this working, as the first version from FM20 crashed the game. As a contributor to the original from FM18, I managed to get that pack to work in FM21 but I have my match sounds seperate, as it makes it easier to modify sound files. The original suffered from many commentary overlaps and that's why I got involved in modifying the sounds heard. Yes, this is a commentary pack with improved crowd sounds and not crowd sounds alone.

This version was previously released for FM 20,I just made it work for FM 21 because there were graphical flaws in the use of sounds.If there are some error sounds and someone wants to fix it I will be glad.

Hi @kosic, upon further investigation this also messes up the VAR decision panel and I think even the commentary during it..

I was not involved with the crowd only sounds. I believe it's still available at FM Scout, FM20 downloads but whether it works in FM21 I couldn't say

Well, lesson number one is ALWAYS back up files in FM before overwriting with mods. As for verifying, go to Steam page, right click on "Football Manager 2021", click on "Properties" then "LOCAL FILES". Then click on "Verify integrity of game files".

The Match commentary has stopped working with the recent FM major update. I had the files saved and reinstated it but it caused bugs and crashes. Will there be an update to the match commentary file? Contrary to public opinion here, I think it is the most valuable MOD.
