What i'd like to know is what activities there is to pass the time through the day (nothing that involves getting dirty as wont be able to take spare clothes and more importantly what are the best night clubs to go to during the evening?

I live in Brighton.
It depends what you want to do - you can do all the touristy stuff along the seafront and on the pier but with the weather and it being a stag do I can't imagine you'll be too keen on that. There's tons of good pubs around and some decent restaurants, as well as an all-male sauna. Might be up your street.

In the evening... ok this is important. Basically, as you go from west to east, it gets gradually more gay. If you want to do something potentially stupid and funny, go out in Kemptown. I'd recommend drawing the line at going to a sauna because that would be incredibly awkward. Basically go north from the pier to Old Steine then turn right onto St James Street. There's the Queens Arms around there which could be hilarious. Or you can go down Marine Parade which is just the upper road along the seafront heading east.
If you don't want to do that then there a bunch of bars and stuff around the Odeon, if you go north on West Street. In the day time, walk around and see if there's anywhere that looks like your thing. Probably the best thing to do. That way you can find good places to eat and stuff too.
Oh, and there's a nudist beach.

The pier does sound like the best bet and then just go from there, don't really wanna drink too much through the day or we'll just be slaughtered come the evening. Am more than happy to try the gay bars/clubs too so that wont be a problem at all, not too keen on contracting aids though.

In all seriousness, most of the gay bars are to the left of the pier. Use that information as you wish.

Well, we had 15-20 years of people saying AIDs is a disease for gay people and even recently I think most people probably still hold that point of view. Do that enough and people are going to take ownership of it and view it as some sort of club. It's not a widespread thing though obviously and most of it is consentual as far as I'm aware. The only time I've heard of someone getting raped and getting AIDs was a female.
