Hi everyone, I am creating a database to make Scotland and Canada with improved youth ratings, affiliates between clubs in both divisions etc etc. However, i want to force both the CPL and all SPFL leagues to only sign homegrown players as per a league rule, but also to Canadian clubs to develop and use Scottish players, and likewise Scottish clubs with Canadians, is there any way to do either of these things?

you can impose specific rules to  a league via fixture rules index(see advanced rules sticky thread) to only have homegrown players in a squad/match squad so in ‘’theory'' the wont but any overseas players if they do they can only use them in continental comps 

 

these workarounds will assist you have a play around see what suite your needs run a few sims in game see how the transfer activity goes
