How to force clubs to only buy players from one/a few nations?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help me out with a custom database I'm building.

I'm looking to make a club which can only buy players from the nations in Great Britain. And i want this to be an enforced rule upon the club (Not just a preference) is there a way to do this in the pre-game editor?

Similarly to the way Athletic Bilbao can only buy players from the Basque region.

have a look at the advanced rules sticky thread 

 

you can set rules so clubs  only have home grown players in squad/match day squad

 

also do this via the nation page after searching for a nation- do it for all Home nations (just copy the initial edit and paste to other nations)

transfer settings set up -1 transfer activity = no transfer activity by continent/nation/region etc

 

 

I would do this for region too- 20= high activity

Hi, thank you for your reply. This has been helpful, however, I'm looking to make these rules just for one club, rather than the entire nation/league.

I'm not sure if this is possible

you can add specific squad rules to just one club eg you can set it so liverpool can only have a squad/match squad of homegrown players

so in theory if they sign any non UK players they cant use them

 

dont think you can impose transfer restrictions per se  via the editor,perhaps it may be possible using an EDT file @mons  may know

I am not aware of a way where a club can be made to only buy players from a particular region and/or country, no.
