I didn't want to spend lots of money but had no real choice because the squad was super thin when I joined. Think there was only like 13 or 14 first team players and a few of those were youth players. Not sure what happened, like whether players had been released or what.... We should be able to compete for the title with the squad we've got now.

Wouldn't have blamed ya! over £200m spent and you go 4-0 down in a Champions League qualifier ffs.

I would have just blamed it on all the new arrivals not having games together if we'd lost 4-0.

Yeah the second leg was great from a Manchester United point of view.

So our Champions League campaign will go down to the last game after a disappointing result against Malaga home and away. Our final game is away against Sporting so a positive result will mean we advance after we hammered them 4-1 at Old Trafford back in September, the aim however will be to pick up maximum points.

Yeah we definitely need to sort out the defensive issues, I think having my full backs set to support isn't the best, but then again I think they help in attack and we're obviously scoring a heap of goals... Decisions, decisions!!
