Great news guys! The XML files should now work with FM21, just add them to your “editor data” folder like you would an FMF and it should work just fine when starting a new game 🙂

I'm going to leave the info about FMF vs XML files on the data update page for a few days while we test that this is working properly, but fingers crossed it is!

What is the key difference? Curious as I am currently using the editor a fair bit but not sure what the difference is?

Previously you had to import the XML file into the editor and then save as an FMF in order to get it to work (or wait for someone to do it). Now you can use the XML file directly without that faff.
