has anyone solved the issue of this? when I download the update and import and save as an FMF file and load a new game it still doesn't show any file to select. I have read the threads above and tried this three times.

I downloaded the Data Update.
But when I try to start a new career it says "this data-file has to be tested and confirmed from the editor".
It is not able to use it, when I want to start a new career.
What do I have to do?

You need to have the free pre-game editor you can download from the Library > Tools section within Steam.

Same here. I downloaded the .XML file and "converted" to .FMF using the Editor from Steam and the changes doesn't apply. Please somebody help me!

Good afternoon, in previous years I downloaded the updated database, the latest version, of each FM, now I am looking for the latest database of the FM2020 version and I cannot find it, nor can I find a thread on that topic. Will someone know how to give me some information on this topic? Thanks

from which date will the update have “live/direct" transfers and not future transfers/ on 1.7.2021?

Shame that older FMs (especially FM20 here) can no longer benefit from the database update, that was the major perk that kept me coming here. But thank you a lot for having it all those years!

I have downloaded the XMLs which wont load, I have also converted them to fmf as above and its saying for all but England there are too many teams in the league, however when I check in the editor there is the correct amount. Any help would be much appreciated?
