European World Cup Qualifying - Real World Football - FM24/25 Update

Friday was THE worst performance I've ever seen from Scotland. Could not do the basics at all. But what really pissed me off was the lack of drive, fight and desire to win the game.

Hell even when we got 4 minutes of added time, there was no fight to try and snatch a draw, FFS!

I asked the same question on Friday. I have no idea. He's not played a competitive game in what? 4 months? Plus when he has, by all accounts he's been shite!

I bet McCarthy and McGeady are much happier with their choice of playing for Ireland.

Scotland are a joke.

So... Switzerland failed to win away to Cyprus and thus missed the opportunity to stretch their lead in our group. That means the Swiss are topping with 11 points, followed by Iceland and Albania both on nine points and Norway sitting 4th with seven points.

I have promised myself not to get any hopes up however, as I've learned from failure over the years. I mean, the fact that Brede Hangeland's our top scorer with two goals says it all really. Switzerland are most likely to win the group and I wouldn't be too surprised if Iceland, led by Lagerbäck, were to finish 2nd. The runner up from this group could very well end up as the weakest of the second placed teams though.

I read that if Scotland were to lose today and results don't go their way, they could be the first side to be officially unable to qualify from the group stage. Alongside such world heavyweights as San Marino and Andorra.
