Little issue when editing the amount of subs via Advanced Rules…
Not coming in to effect straight away, starting the season after.

I will take a look at this later, in the meantime have a look at the section additional helpers see if there is anything there as this may be down to a separate set of rules in place for the first season(starting late due to covid)
but IIRC on my tests earlier it was working
this is with 19.3 update or 19.1 DB?

The editor DB i have two versions 21.1.1 which it says is the default DB and the 21.3.0 official update DB.

what DB in the editor did you use to make the file
and FYI you can post images directly to your posts now just using copy image and paste😉

@CarlM1985 did you look at the additional helper section? as I suggested the issue might be there and it is
you need to go to that section for each league you want to change and edit the sub rules as you want them NB those additional rules are for the start season only[covid rules] so make the changes as normal to default rules and NB if there are 2 or more sets of rules for a comp
NB if there are 2 or more sets of rules for a comp I would change the sub rules in both set of rules to be sure😉

leaving the sub rules blank in the additional helpers part should work just as well have a play around

I did try to follow but I think something is wrong?
I've adapted the number of players on the bench and substitutes to 5 of 11.
tested the rules, no problem.
However when I start a new save and check the rules of the competition.
The rules are 7 players on the bench and 5 subs….
Strange.

Another question, is it possible to chance the registration rules of the Champions League, Europa League, Conference League?
I tried to find it in your post, but it isn't easy to find.
I would like to chance the amount of registered players from 25 to 30.

Wondering if anyone here can help me out because I've literally spent hours going through the editor trying to get this to work. The issue is that I wanted to change the English Premier League subs rule for the 21.4 database to “3 from 9”. After making just that one change, every time I try to test and verify, I keep getting the following error (which is totally weird because I didn't edit anything related to this league):
