FM21 Data Update Shutdown - FM22 Update Plan

I plan on disabling the FM21 update tomorrow in order to import all the FM22 data.

The plan is then to leave the data update disabled until full launch of FM22, when we can switch to updating that game.

The plan is also to to continue making the changes we make to FM22 available for FM21 so the FM21 update will continue being usable.

If anyone has any questions or issues please feel free to say.

will the data update including all the transfers and manager/staff movements for Football Manager 2022 be released on Sortitoutsi as i and loads of other players are waiting for it so they can start a new save???????

We're waiting to ensure SI don't release any more changes, they usually do a mini update a week or so after release, which should include Conte etc.

Any hopes of a FM22 data release today. :-)

I have a couple of suggestions

Since we no longer input wages, would it also be an idea  to omit % of wages paid in loans and let the game pick those automatically too?

When  a contract extension is submitted , your mods should remove the existing wage in the editor file and leave it blank so that the game can select a new wage (which will hopefully be more in keeping with a players current ability).  Otherwise we end up with situations where lower earning break out stars are given long contracts but their wages still only reflect their U18/U23 status in the update

Does 22.1.1 contain any database updates? Does it include the errors from the original database that have been fed back to SI and approved?

Olaf Rebbe not being on the Nurnberg staff was one I noticed and Recieved approval.

We can’t add directors of football or directors, etc, if they’re not already in the database, can we?

Olaf Rebbe was in the original database - just not at a club!

Don't have any suggestions to improve the website. What I have is some updates to do! All the Barça staff is wrong!

Actually, don't know if that's doable, but I think we should be able to propose doing new players or new staff members to improve the database. Some amateur leagues, especially in Portugal, don't have right information, some of it is missing. Another suggestion is to be able to recover some IDs from past versions of FM. For example, a player stops for one or two seasons, for the creators, it means that he could be retired. When he gets back to business he's not in the database anymore. Those two thing would be awesome to have

There were 31 staff changes in the 22.1.1 update 

There are plans to allow creating new players. 

It will be kept very simple with the current contract offers. Then name, date of birth, position, CA and randomised pa.

That's a few weeks away though.

It would be good to be able to assign a squad number 

I looked into this and decided not to but I can't remember why.

I think possibly we should have a special squad number tool rather than having to individually edit and approve every individual. It would be annoying to edit every premier league player for instance and for a mod to moderate all those changes.

I have a suggestion. Is there any possibility to import workers/players from old databases to the actual? Because there are some of them who are not in the actual database and returned in this season.

The idea of assign a squad number or create new players and workers is interesting too (there are some of them who aren't in the database).

Im really confused - tried to transfer Conte to Tottenham, but it just says “now has a role of first team manger”, and no mention of Tottenham.

I then went to the Tottenham page and Conte wasn’t on it.

I also tried to get rid of Espirito Santo and his staff, but that has been labelled as “spam”?

What is going on?

Those changes were already made in the 22.1.1 update I believe!

But when I searched for Conte in the database, it doesn’t say he’s Tottenham?

Your not using the latest database then which was released a couple of days ago.

How do I use it

You just need Steam (or whatever you're using) up to date.

It should also be obvious when you're on sortitoutsi that these managers weren't at those clubs when editing the forms or browsing as well.

Why new data update to FM21 doesn't show any changes in game database ? what am I doing wrong ?

@barteq85 woops the FM21 version wasn't meant to be released yet, that was an accident, it doesn't include all the base file changes from FM22.

It should be included in the next update released in 4 hours time.

Unfortunately I think that the new data update for FM21 still does not work, for example conte, xavi are unemployed, sorry, maybe I'm still doing something wrong?

FM21 data update does not work. Eddie Howe, Xavi Hernandez, Antonio Conte is unemployed. Their coaches are employed in team,but not managers.
