I only got FM22 a few days ago and only just about to finish my first season, I like it so far. I think the ME has improved. I know its early impressions but so far I am quite positive.
However just got my first youth intake......those Regen faces are horrendous, look like some Japanese animation or something. They are really disappointing . I tend to do 10 year saves so Regens become a huge part of the overall game.

Have you considered using this file to create real-looking cutout faces for your regens?

I am trying to do this. The installer has been downloaded using Winrar as usual and I have unzipped this into my graphics folder.
Th other file for some reason went to MEGASYNC..? So I have no idea how to unzip this or even find it -)

I might have to watch that video again to see if I can attempt to install that software as this is the first time I have ever considered going back to last years game.
We do so much to add realism to the game, kits, player faces, stadiums, logos, badges etc and then they give us Regens like this.
Is it just me or are they dreadful this year. I mean they do look like cartoon characters.

Have you gotten it to work? I’ve been using it since last year, and trust me, it really is a lifesaver. If you need help getting to work, I can help out.

An easier way I have found, is to just get the created regen player unique id. Go through a league you don’t use and copy a face onto your desktop. Re-name it with the regen specific ID. Copy into your ‘players’ folder abd then use something like FMXL to write a new config file. Load up game and clear cache and refresh, you will then have a proper player face for the regen player.
As an aside and to save too much work, I only do this for my team, or regen players that I sign to my team. This way it isn’t too onerous.
I also pick faces that are not ‘well known’’ within football and appear close in ethnicity and appearance to the regen model.
I hope this ‘alternative‘ quick-fix helps.

I might get a chance over the weekend to have a look at this. Thanks for the offer but I really need to learn how to do all of this for myself I think.
I used to struggle with it all, facepacks, the name fixes etc but I can now manage to do these tasks myself.
This one does seem a tad more complex but I will give it a go when I get more time. Thanks for the offer.

OK so I think I have downloaded the installer correctly but the other file downloads to s Megasync file. I have no idea how to extract this. My attempt to do this is shown here

It is definitely worth using the NewGAN pack. It increases the immersion in long term saves massively!
Make sure the you download NewGAN 1.2.1. (Which is here: https://www.fmscout.com/a-newgan-manager-tool.html) This is the latest version, for some reason the one on FM Base is the old version.
Do you have torrent software? You'll one need to download the facepack. I think that is the Megasync file file you're struggling with.

I have managed to get the install manager files downloaded but not the actual facepack.
I think the link you have above is the actual tool software.
I do not have torrent software….as I use this site to do my downloads to winrar. For some reason I am unable to do this with the facepacks file.
I am going to have to come back to this later as heading out. Thanks for your input

Found a tool called bit torrent ….will this work? Is it safe?
I will delete it as soon as I have finished using it……I am determined to get this up and running ;-)

Bit torrent will work just fine to get you the facepack downloaded.
Yes, it's definitely worth the effort. I know it's obvious saying this but If you're not too tech savvy then just take your time, keep pausing the video to make sure you're doing every step correctly.
