Good cut @dpeter but keep in mind that cut-outs are to be cropped no more than 2-3 pixels beneath the chin while having a collar. Since in some sources, like the one from which this image was cut, the person in the image has a longer neck than usual or the collar is lower down, the above would be quite difficult to achieve naturally. Here's a technique of how this can be accomplished quite easily by lassoing the collar and nudging it upwards:
Makes sense. One question. If it is a low resolution source would you ever keep the neck longer to avoid the face getter more blurry? Or best to shorten the neck in all cases?

I think it's preferable to have a 180x180 cut than a 250x250 cut with a long neck. My reasoning is that it's a facepack, not a face-and-neck-pack 😉
