@Baja So, I think I just realized that these were ones where I was still using remove.bg (and cropping down before uploading) but even then, I was having issues with things like that.

I'm uploading a new one now, mostly out of curiosity to see if my assumption is correct.

I just now realized that I did this batch utilizing remove.bg, but even when cropping down, I'd notice issues. I don't know what happened on this one, though.

But, the newest one is just me using Photoshop techniques that I'm very familiar with, and they're efficient as I have actions saved, etc.

Nothing wrong at all with using remove.bg, it's when it's not used properly that cuts don't come out right. My cut took 45 seconds to do and is as good as the second one you did. Not sure how you managed not to get as good a cut using a cropped version of the original source 😕

Anyway, as long as you're comfortable with whichever technique you're utilizing and happy using it, that's all that matters 🙂
