In some cases, the details in the FM database have been input wrongly, duplicated or not been input at all - and this results in some kits either not displaying or the text colour looking different to the kit.
One way of solving this is the use of a kits colour changes file, which ONLY works when applied BEFORE starting a new game.
Instructions below on how to install this file BEFORE starting a new game:
- Go to Documents \ Sports Interactive \ Football Manager 20XX \ editor data \ put in all .fmf here!
- Delete all previous instances of this file or others named similarly.
- Put this file in there and start a new game. Voilà, problems sorted

Things this file will fix include:
1) fixing national or leagues teams kits in instances where they don't appear, like for example West Ham / Burnley
Wrong Colour Bar...
No third kits for Burnley...OR if they have the third kit, will fix the colour bar...
Will fix if default third kit as well.
2) removing kits from the database which are not in the SS kit packs, like for example this team
3) assigning the correct kit colours and/or styles in the instances where the FM database and the kit packs don't correspond

FC Andorra has it's color for the away shirt set to black in this file, and in the 2D SS kit pack it is black as well, and the 3rd kit is neon green. It is kind of hard to see online what their away shirt is. But it looks like the away shirt is the neon green one and the black is from last season? In the 3D SS kit pack there is no 3rd kit and the away shirt is the neon green. So could we have that changed in this file as well ? Thank you.

It's fine with me if the order stays the same ( I would prefer the neon green be the away since the 3D kit pack here on the site has the neon green as away shirt). right now with the 3D kit pack they are playing in the neon green as away since the creator of this pack has not made the black shirt. If it stays the same I will just ask the creator on the forum to add and black jersey to the 3D pack (dont know if it is you who makes the shirts, and if so I apologize for the confusion).
I appreciate all the work being put into it, it just bugs me out a bit that im playing in neon green when the game thinks im playing in black.

I think the colors for home and away kit ARE correct. The kits are incorrectly assigned in the kit file . all you have to do is open the kit file and switch them.
If you want a closer match for the 3rd kit, as hammer9 said, that can be manually changed using In-Game Edit

For the next version of this file, for admin purposes, I would also recommend that you:
a) avoid having the date in the filename. It's a good idea to have it dated, but in practice it just means that people may have more than 1 version of the same file without knowing, which confuses matters somewhat and can cause issues
b) if you are using custom files from other packs, keep the filename used, for the same reason
I believe not only would this make things easier for all who use these files, but also for you 🙂
