I can't seem to be able to edit any competitions in the pre-game editor. Is that just how it is or am I missing something? I can edit everything else but competitions.

What is it you want to edit? If it's competition rules and the such, you need to add nation rules. The basic editor is for data issues, such as competition names, reputation, etc.
