I've just that and no joy, to be honest if I keep my copy config separate I can always try and make sure that's deff no duplicates, but I have checked that numerous times. I'm guessing somehow I've duplicated it. It was fine when did Create A Club, then as soon as level 11 was released I went from there. Is there any way of deleting/swapping those COMING SOON photos? I'd use say, I dunno, Brentford, for if I ever make it big, in a decade or whatever. 

Before when I clicked my under 23s it was showing the correct picture but I'm guessing duplications are my issue. I've not really got anything to lose if I re-extract the original .xls file have I? Other than adding the lines as I have them with your corrections?

You know when you've been faffing with something so long you eventually somehow break it? I seem to have done that

Upload your two stadium pictures and your city picture and I will make you a folder with xml files that you can just put in the backgrounds folder so you don't have to keep changing the original config file 😀

Thank you so much! If the stadium pics have to be limited to one, that just alternates between itself, I'd rather use the jpg sunny day one. My pride Park has two, although I'm not sure how to do this. Thank you, you'll add probably 100 hours entertainment for me by fixing this. I've spent more time messing with pics than I have playing! So with what you send me back do I just use the original sortitoutsi config straight from Winrar?

This should work (given the id's are right) if you just put it (pinxton backgrounds folder) in your backgrounds folder and use the original config for the main pack so there are no interferens between the two 👍

In the meantime I don't understand why you need to download the 2022.01 file? Since you are premium member it should not be a problem to download the full pack that contains all the updates 👍

Just seeking some advice I have added several competitions to the game and I usually just update the competition backgrounds with my own photo and add the required update to the config file within this folder- but there is no config file there

there is a config file here

but once opened it doesnt look right, if this is the config file dealing with all the sub folders surely there would be thousands of entries like this-

Well I don't know why it looks that way in notepad++, there are as you say thousands of entries. I tried my self with notepad++ and got the same result as you. Only solution is to open it with the “normal” notepad then you will be able to see all the entries that are there 👍😉

when free can you take a look at this config xml file please for some reason when I try to use it I lose all the background graphics, I havent had this issue before all the images are in the correct folder and correct format and it looks fine to me

I have tried several ways of adding the entries into the config file using notepad and notepad +++ still no joy, I have never had this issue before.

 when adding images to a background file its a simple copy and paste of the text into the config .xml and the images placed in the sub folder with the right reference details but try as I might when I cant get this to work, I have even created a sub folder to contain just the images of the new comps and its own mini config file but it doesnt work

 any input is appreciated

Well my advice is not to mess around with the original config. Mainly because it makes it easier to update the pack, but also because the config is auto generated by the system and it is massive and very hard to edit with out losing oversight.

But adding a sub-folder within the pack with its own config should be very much possible.

So put the the original config back in place (you can get from the last update if you did not make a backup), and then make a subfolder with its own config, if done right it will work 👍😉

if you are still experiencing problems please just upload the folder with the new comps (including config), and I will take a look at that.

what skins are compatible/recomended for this pack? It doesn't seem to work with default skin nor with Zealand skin (my current choice).

I was wondering if someone is using Media backgrounds?

I have them myself, but I can't understand why the ID's arent the same in the editor and in the game itself.

Som I got to work but most of them not.

If someone have the pack and its working, I would love to get it.

I was using media backgrounds but it got to troublesome. If you like me use the “real name fix” it ads a lot of media, and that is great but it also means that if you want media backgrounds you have to turn on id showing in your game and check every media you want a background to show for and then make the config according to the ingame id of the media…. incredible huge work. That is also one of the reasons media backgrounds is not part of this pack 👍.
