Does downloading old years' full packs for player faces in 2022 work?

For my 2022 game, if I add the full packages and add-ons of the old years, will I have more coach and football player faces or is 2022 a standalone full package?

Although my brother and I installed all the addons of 2022 the same, I did not have a football player face that he had.

What pack is this?

If it's the cut-out facepack, you can use the v2022 file or any of the other versions plus updates or the v2022 plus updates - they all work.

It is likely you did not actually have the same files, or maybe one of you had it installed wrongly.

It depends how old your “old year” files are. Some of those players/coaches/managers may have retired and will no longer be in the FM22 database, so will not show. It's always best to use the latest packs from Cut Out Faces or DF11, as examples because they use a large database and are updated regularly. Personally I use Cut Out Faces as the priority pack and other packs in the rare event that COF doesn't have it. In my faces folder I label them “A CUT OUT FACES”, “B DF11” and so on. The game will then select the face packs in alphabetical order, so if it's not there in COF it will show that face from DF11 and so on.
