If you're creating backgrounds for players who don't have one, are you able to use the FM XML which does the config for you?

I've not done this before, so any guidance would be helpful.

Yes u can but make the backgrounds in jpg cause the editor can't read it if in png.

I use 1920x1080 resolution myself

When I click on the FM XML it doesn't show a background option. I've got faces, kits, and logos

Maybe I am using a older version. Have you got a link for the FM XML?

@McG84 and @kfnielsen or you could also use the submissions system if you have nice high quality (1920x1080) persons backgrounds in jpg, so that everybody can enjoy them 😉

I will do that.I have updated the most of epl,but its a bit of a mess right now.I have to sort it out first

Can anyone provide a simple guide or anything to help me add my own background photos in? 

This config code notepad scares me to death and I don't want to tweak in fear of losing everything.

I just want to add some new background and action shots for my upcoming west ham save. thank you all in advance 🙂

I would always recommend using our submissions system to upload any background photos you have so that everybody can enjoy them:
