Morning

Has anyone had an issue with in-match colour clashes after doing the real-kit Juve fix?

The engine still seems to think the home kit is black, so doesn't put you in a change kit when playing a team in white.

A couple of matches there have been 22 players running around in white. 😢

Cheers

You need to change it in the editor.

Is there any other way? A file I could add?

I'm 5 seasons in, and would rather not install FMRTE as I don't trust myself.. lol

Sorry. I used the real name fix, and then downloaded a Serie A 3D kit pack. The issue is actually to do with the graphics, not the name fix.

The 2D and 3D kits have changed, and all is well. But because the engine still thinks our home kit is Black, it doesn't see another team wearing white as being a clash.

At what point did you install the real name fix? Because if it was placed after starting a new game, then the change in kit colours as intended in the fix will not be implemented. The real name fix also contains a Juventus kit fix as part of the download.

Have you looked at your Juventus fix since the lastest patch? It looks like it has made some of the changes fail and reverted back to the original black kit.

Oh dear, no I didn't and nobody had mentioned it before now. I'll have another look at it then.

Now that I've checked, it all seems working precisely as intended, as per the below screenshot. With every official update, I recommend that the fix is downloaded and applied again, and it could be you're using an older version of the file, which might be why some of the changes failed and revert at your end.

I'm not sure a solution has been provided yet 😕

What other editor data files do you have at your end?

@mons I was using an older version yes.  Anyway, good to know it's all working as intended.

@jimbo If you want to change the colour of kits without starting a new game you will have to buy the in game editor.

Ah. Could you send me the link for the most up to date file please?

Image attached to show an example of the clash.

Download and apply this file

I would also suggest that you download the two attached files. It might be the case that the kits shown in the database are not the same style or colour combination as the one in the various downloaded kitpacks, and these files sort that out.

As has been mentioned several times already, these files do not work if you do not have them in place before starting a new game.

No, that didn't sort it I'm afraid.

I've deleted and replaced all relevant files and reloaded. The first match was Marseille and we're both wearing white shirts. 😢

Is there a file I could paste into place that would change the game from thinking the Juve home shirt is Black?

Looks like someone else has had the same issue on the below link, but doesn't look like any managed to sort it.

And this is after starting a new game, right?

Can I see a screenshot of the exact location where you've placed the editor data files? And also the 3D kits too.

No, this is during a save. Is it impossible to alter mid game?

I'm on a mac. So LIbrary/Appsupport/Steam/Steamapps/Common/FM22/Data/Database/DB for the below folders.

And Graphics/Kits for the strips

It is impossible to alter mid game without an in game editor.  As far as I know there are none available for free.
