Saw Spring Breakers. Decent film. Easy to tell that Korine is completely disinterested in structure, plot etc. but is entirely focused on atmosphere. Makes for an interesting pop poem, but not the best film.

Loved Franco.

Look at all my shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

Halfway through the latest Batman and I can't take Bane seriously, his voice is like Darth Vader crossed with Sean Connery, it's too funny It doesn't suit his appearance.

I did have tickets to go see Spring Breakers on Wednesday, but my friend punched a hole in my window because he was drunk so I decided to call it a day. Still looking forward to seeing it, even though all I want is more Project X.

And they managed to neuter him at the end too!

True dat. Michael Caine did a fucking stellar job of making me tear up towards the end, and Anne Hathaway in leather does it for me I've discovered.

Watched Save The Date last night. Was shown at Sundance last year and quite a good cast. Mainly watched it for Alison Brie but enjoyed it.

I've been trying to watch The Hobbit the past few nights coming in from work. Finding it incredibly dull.

Finally saw Life of Pi. Took me almost three hours, since I sometimes needed to pause it because I just couldn't watch it.
I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye.

Just watched Inglorious Bastards. Was not a great fan of it tbh. I have loved every film of Tarantino's till this. The one main good thing is Waltz acting. Loved him in it and hope to see him in a lot more soon.

Oblivion tonight. It was okay for a hollywood movie with him as lead.

Very much like Moon though

I don't mind Tarantino, but I think everyone of his movies could be substantially cut down and revised. They're usually too long. The first scenes I'd cut completely would be any featuring himself...

His scene in Pulp Fiction I think is one of the best of the film.

I understand about some scenes being cut as they are irrelevant such as the opening scene to Reservoir Dogs and to a point Inglorious Bastards but I usually enjoy them types of scenes.

You'd be a fucking moron to cut the opening scene of Reservoir Dogs.

Im not saying to cut it as I loved that scene but I was saying it could be cut by some people as it does not relate to the story

Place Beyond the Pines was fantastic. I also recommend you go and see Trance.

Anyone seen Promised Land? I was going to watch it this afternoon but will plump for Dortmund v Madrid instead I think.

True, but with Spielberg at the helm and a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars I expected something better than I actually got.
