Installation Instructions
Step 1) Where to install the Standard Kits Megapack
Once you've downloaded a Football Manager Standard Kits Megapack and extracted it you should see a folder called "sortitoutsi Standard Kits Megapack" on your computer. In this folder are two more folders called “graphics” and “editor data” (If you only have a graphics folder, that's fine just ignore anything related to “editor data”). You're going to need to move these folder into a special location where Football Manager can find it, this is different depending on if you're a Mac user or a Windows user.
Apple: Where to put the folders on Mac
You will need to go to the following location:
/Users/<yourname>/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2023
You may find it difficult to find this exact location, to make it easier, use the following instructions:
a) Open Finder
b) Click “Go” from the menubar and select “Go to Folder” (alternatively press Shift+CMD+G)
c) Copy in the following: ~/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2023
d) Open the “Football Manager 2023/graphics” folder (or create it if it doesn't exist)
e) Move the contents of "sortitoutsi Standard Kits Megapack/graphics" into this ”graphics" folder
d) Open the “Football Manager 2023/editor data” folder (or create it if it doesn't exist)
e) Move the contents of "sortitoutsi Standard Kits Megapack/editor data" into this ”editor data" folder
Windows: Where to put the FM Graphic Packs on Windows
On Windows you will need to go to the following location:
Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2023
Then follow these steps:
a) Open the “Football Manager 2023/graphics” folder (or create it if it doesn't exist)
b) Move the contents of "sortitoutsi Standard Kits Megapack/graphics" into this ”graphics" folder
c) Open the “Football Manager 2023/editor data” folder (or create it if it doesn't exist)
d) Move the contents of "sortitoutsi Standard Kits Megapack/editor data" into this ”editor data" folder
What if I don't have a graphics folder?
If you don't have a “graphics” folder simply create it 🙂
What if I don't have a Editor Data folder?
If you don't have a “editor data” folder in the download that's fine just ignore any instructions related to “editor data”. If there is an “editor data” folder in the download but not in your Documents, simply create it. 🙂
The downloaded files ends with .zip, .rar, .7z
If you have a file that ends in .zip, .rar or .7z then you'll need to extract the files before installing them. These files are called “archives” and are a way to compress a folder into a single file for downloading but you'll need to open them and get the folder that's in them before installing. DO NOT put these files in your graphics folder, it won't work.
Extract the files first and then put the extracted files into your graphics folder. If you're not sure how to extract them, look at these guides for windows or for mac.
Step 2) How to refresh graphics in Football Manager
Unfortunately even though you have the folder in the right place Football Manager won't automatically pick up the new files. You're going to have to go in and tell Football Manager to reload your graphics.
Simply follow these instructions:
a) Open Football Manager
b) Click Preferences on the start screen (or if you're already in a game FM Logo > Preferences)
c) Click the “Advanced” tab
d) On the right hand side select “interface”
e) Scroll down the Skin Heading
f) Uncheck “Use caching to decrease page loading times”
g) Tick “Reload skin when confirming changes to preferences”
h) Click “Reload Skin”
And now your graphics should be appearing.
You should go back into the preferences and follow the same steps but this time tick “Use caching to decrease page loading times”, this will help with the long term performance of the game, but needed to be unticked to install these graphics.

Lastly, @DokteurHaisse and @kitcreator for their work on creating the best tools around to make kit creation more accessible. I know I'm missing out on a lot of names, but it has been a great community effort and I hope we can continue working on creating the best graphics for the FM community as a whole.

Thank you @wfm18 – you've dished out gratitude to others, and deserve it back. You've done excellent work both in terms of your contributions to the pack as well as your organisation and commitment to getting this to such a good standard.
wfm18
I have to thank you, really. I've really enjoyed to work with you on this project and you've raised the bar for .fmf kit color editing 👏🏻

thankyou so much!!
priority76
Nice one! I hope this will become a massively popular download. One pet peeve though @wfm18 this 🇬🇧 is not the flag of England.
wfm18
Haha nice one, I couldn't see the flags I only see two letter abbreviations on Windows, on macOS it's different - so I have to switch again haha. I've updated it with the correct flag 🏴 🙂

Maybe it was asked before, but what file should I use in addition when I want National Teams, too?
Jamaicaman90
Check the FAQ above, the part titled 'I'm missing league X or club X in the pack, will this be added?'
You can use any national team packs you may find alongside this pack and there shouldn't be an issue 👌

This is something that was missing, a kits megapack. And the standard kits is the best. Good job, thank you.

I did a quick search, but couldn't find anything so maybe I missed it, but I was wondering which is the more “complete” of the kit styles, this megapack, and some of the loose packs that haven't been consolidated, or the SS kits?
I'm a sucker for completion-ism and uniformity, so I'd rather use the style that has the most teams done
Cheers,
TJ

It depends, this megapack is closest to SI's style obviously, so it just extends the licenses in the game. This means there is no pack over here for the Australian league, but that one is already in FM, so we don't have to. We'll add a couple more leagues over the upcoming weeks (Luxemburg by @Humberto21, Ireland, Japan J-League is likely, Singapore, …) to this pack but both SS and FC'12 have their own set of kits. Like FC'12 also has a couple of African kits, while this pack mostly focuses on Europe still. In terms of completion-ism I think FC'12 has the most kits, although this pack also has 2000+, but for example missing Brazil due to licensing issues with FMBrasil (no permission to convert their 3D work). It also depends on where on the world you want to be a manager, I'd seek for completion-ism in that area 😉

Great pack! I have one question. I see there are 2D kits for the Portuguese 2nd and 3rd tier included in this pack, but I can't seem to find the 3D version of the kits anywhere. Where can I find them?
dyceszn
none of my kits are showing up and i followed all the steps can someone please help me?
Jamaicaman90
Can you show a screenshot of the folder where you've placed the files, so I can see the file location?
wfm18
Soon a new update! We've been working hard to bring you more leagues and clubs!
Svartowiz
Great stuff! I just wanted to ask if there's an possibility of including the 3D versions of the kits as well? It's very hard to find some of the kits in 3D.
wfm18
I'd love to and I also have all the content doubled in 3D (that is why there is a ‘2d’ folder), but I owe it to the original authors of the 3D packs to not include those in the Megapack - since they deserve not only the credit but also the downloads on their content. I'm already fortunate enough to be able to convert most of the work into 2D Standard stuff, which means that many people can enjoy the Standard Kits.

Full applause to you @wfm18 for keeping up with this to such a level, well above and beyond what could be expected of anyone. Also credit to everyone who has and continues to contribute - I've taken a large step back for the tail end and I'm impressed with how little difference that has made to it 😂
wfm18
I have to thank you too again, you're a massive part of this megapack. Same as all the others I mentioned in the first post. Let's see what FM 2023 brings and what my availability will be by then 😉
Marc Calladine
v2 isnt there , just v1
Jamaicaman90
Are you checking here? https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/style/7/standard-kits
I can see version 2022.02 on the right.
Marc Calladine
yeah , when you click on it , it downloads v1
Jamaicaman90
Seems to be working OK for me with a test download. See if you can see Chilean clubs in the pack - if you can, it's V2.
Mehmet Suat
Yeah, even if you click on 2022.02 the mediafire link is that of 2022.01. I checked the Chilean clubs and only Colo Colo is there which was already included in the first pack. If you could update the mediafire link that'd be great. Thanks!
