Hi,
I've been using data updates for a while and today I wanted to start a new save with updated squads. I've followed the usual steps of extracting the files into the data editor file but for some reason, the changes aren't coming through to the game. I get an error message when unzipping saying there's a folder that has a file path that's wrong (attached), but the license data file doesn't say this and also doesn't work.
I deleted some files from that folders because I didn't think they were necessary (I deleted the data editor file and recreated it empty in order to add the new update files).
I previously had the name fix files in there which worked fine, but now that doesn't work either.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Great that works now! The only issue I'm having now is that European competition name fixes aren't coming through - club names and everything are working but not Champions League, Europa, etc.
When I unzip the file there isn't a fmf file called European competition name changes or anything like that?

Competition name changes are done in different files to the one in this screenshot, they're in the files included in the lnc folder.

So do I need to copy all files (EDT,lnc,dbc) into the editor data FM file?

Just follow the installation instructions.
The dbc, edt and lnc folders do not go in the editor data folder, it should be clear from the instructions 👍

hi guys i am having problems with my FM23 which doesn't show me my custom downloaded editor data files when starting a new career save. I also recently verified whether they fall under 23.4.0 update and they do when I used my pre game editor tool. Also the directory of how I saved my editor data files on my pc doesn't have problems please refer my attachments. Help on this would be absolutely appreciated. Thanks
