This might be a stupid question but where did you find where to put the badges? 🤔 Like where did you see that the files should go in sleves/3d? Also, is it only possible to have special badges for the champions? Allsvenskan do special colored badges for each team, but I don't really expect to be able to reproduce it..

From what i've tested, only sleeve patches for leagues, cup, etc are equal for all teams. So no special patch for the champion.

I'm doing the Portuguese sleeves patches and will try ad make the missing english ones

I checked the league badges and I'm not happy with them. They're quite missplaced on the front half of the sleeve. It's not looking good with other design elements like stripes or manufacturers logos on sleeves.

The good news is that it's possible to have “sleeves" folder with original config in graphics folder, paralel with kits. So I will provide folder with league patches together with my kits and it'll be fine

One thing I'm curious, important thing is, only competitions that have these league patches licensed are now?

In the end, should I say that there is a possibility that another new patch pack will be produced for the competition patch for sleeve?

Only licensed leagues and cups have sleeve patches. Other leagues can have patches on kits like before.

You can also add new patches for additional leagues in same ways as kits. Add a png file and a line in config

Yeah, but there will only be clashes once they play in Europe. Like Chelsea in the UCL will then both have the PL badge and the UCL one on top, just as an example. But clearing the whole sleeve/arm would also not make sense IMO.

Kit makers should create kits with empty sleeves and include sleeve patches with the pack. At least that's what I'm going to do

Yes agree. Going to do the same. Already made a small update again to this patches/badges folder. Tested and works like a charm.

I suggest you all refrain from adding english badges because they require a bit of repositioning in order to fit nicely on sleeves from various manufacturers. Many possibilities have to be taken into account, for example that Macron logos doesn't get half covered by EFL badge if Nottingham or Crystal Palace got relegated, or some National teams get promoted. So updating kits is also required and I'm in the middle of doing that.

My next update will have updated kits and sleeve folder with somewhat repositioned patches, including Premier league. Lower levels will also be added in future.

So if you guys are making sleeve patches for England, they probably won't fit exactly on my updated kits. It doesn't matter in 3D match, but in locker room it'll be obviuos

Yeah like ManCity has the Puma logos on their sleeves as well, so sometimes the teams use the patches a little higher on the sleeve in order to fit. I want to see SI's implementation once they open up the Editor and Resource Archiver. They have all the EFL leagues and for example Ligue 1 or the Eredivisie where they have these patches too.

I ask a question .. but is there the possibility of being able to bypass all this "new" problem that Sports Interactive has kindly given us? Is there a way to make the use of the patches that sports interactive intends to use "inoperative or ineffective"?

Yes - then you should delete all the patches from the graphics.fmf file - so there are no patches that will be on top of the kit. But the best way is to make these patches and use the FM23 system from now on, as this brings most realism to the game. So also for the Norway kits it might make sense to clear sleeves from national sponsors or patches so that the UCL patch can for example always go onto the kit.

Great news, then I guess (in general) it will be half a disaster!

I try to explain .. as you have already said, not all leagues use (patch or sponsor) but in the various leagues we have different situations. Championships where the (patch-sponsor) is placed on the right arm, others on the left arm, others such as Austria (level 1-2) and Switzerland (level 3) the patch is on the front of the shirt .. and then Norway which I'm learning about where each club personalizes the patch with the color they like. I hope you can create something that can really work, at least for licensed leagues, where the problem seems to be more relevant. Otherwise it is worth continuing to create the kit as faithfully as possible and perhaps choosing to be able to "activate" or "disable" the modification you told me about so that the game does not introduce "patches".

If there is the possibility of creating something that is tailor made for each league (division) so that we can truly decide how and where to patch it would be great, but if we have to limit ourselves to a single predetermined position then I believe it is a sacrifice unnecessary.

Yeah exactly. Curious how for example SI handled the MLS customized patches or Bundesliga and EFL teams. We need to learn how they did it to make the patches properly

You can already see.  Last years resource archiver works.  To answer your question MLS patches are still on the 3d kits.

Ah great. Seems like they only really implemented it on the European kits. Also interesting that the sleeve patches are not in the center of the kit but a little bit more located to the front, which is interesting to how we should implement them since it might look strange…

So SI actually also didn't fix this issue properly. Kits just get those patches on top, but this is the actual Go Ahead Eagles kit plus official UCL patch on top and they overlap… Also the official Eredivisie one, which is way more common obviously. So I guess if SI cannot fix it we don't have to think about it ourselves. Amazes me a bit that actually SI also got it wrong, I mean they don't have that many licenses and if they add this then do it right. I think you can even find a club that plays UCL where the UCL is actually misaligned on the kit because of a sponsor. To me, as QA at Sports Interactive I would have not accepted this but they probably found out too late that this does not work with their setup. They need to have the patch as a separate entity, afterwards getting the coordinates per club to position the patch properly. Way too much work hehe - something that you'll see in FIFA or PES as these games are more graphics-focused.

it's just an idea .. maybe they have placed them in that position to "favor" some new or perhaps old visualization of the in-game kit, which perhaps for their interests is optimal in what seems to be the wrong position for us. Certainly I would not rule out the hypothesis that they too had to face the same problem as ours, that is that with different (leagues / clubs) licensed and each with its own design the addition of the various patches could not be optimal. But as always, if they don't explain anything it is always difficult for us to understand what they do at SI.

In any case I go on as usual in the creation. I will not buy Fm23, I did not have time to play on 22, I would feel stupid to take 23 😀

if you find a good compromise let me know

I'm doing a ton of patches. I'm putting them on the position that makes sense.

Dont forget that for the UEFA competitions the kits have differences because of the rules, and has the example @wfm18     showed that kit would have lost the right sleeve sponsor for UEFA CL.

Hi everyone, I would like to know if there is an updated template pack for the 2022/2023 season jerseys as I would like to make several kits for the upcoming game. I thank you in advance

@bolid74 could you take a look at this Select kit type? It's widely used in the Northern/Scandinavian region of Europe, I struggle with the lines on the arms mostly.

Club is called Moss FK.

@bolid74 Hi, if possible can you share the two givova templates (Wingate 1-2 / Eng 7 Isthmian) please?

And then, once the work in England / Croatia is completed again this year, will you share the 3D templates of the championships you have created? thanks 🙂

I'm not sure if I understand…FM23 uses the same type of kits since FM20 so there will be no new packs for FM23. I'll simply continue to add new templates to this existing pack.

Perfect, I will use your FM20-21 template with the new additions that you are incorporating.

Thanks again

NE templates pack (2D and 3D premade kits) is now updated with 7 new kits. These kits work well in FM20 to FM23 (even though the title of the file says FM20-22)

New kits:

Adidas Condivo22 training

Macron Gede

Errea Hector

Uhlsport Goal25

Avec Evolve Id, Team Pro, Team Pro striped
