Game speed is slower

Had to update my 2015 MacBook to macOS Monterey for the game to be playable. Downloaded the usual graphics packs and real name fixes etc that I used last year. Had 6 leagues loaded on FM22 with large database and the game ran at 3.5 stars which was fine. Same setup, `SMALL DATABASE' and now it's half a star!! Any help please??

The star system wrt depends entirely on what else you have running on your system. If you have a multiple internet tabs/windows open, a film streaming in the background and other applications running, then FM will see only part of the overall system resources dedicated to it and that is what it'll base its star assessment on.

I have no idea how powerful your system is, but the star system is only an indication. Up to you to determine if the game is quick enough or not.
