Can someone please tell me how to use the FM 23 editor? I have purchased the editor and clicked “play” in Steam, but I don't see the pencil icon in the game.

There is the ingame editor that costs 9 euros now (crazy, each year +1 without new features) and the pre-game editor which you can download and which you tried to load here. So you either did not launch the game and only the editor OR you did not buy the ingame editor which is onyl enabled ingame (check with new savegame that has the box unticked for ‘prevent ingame editor …’

Please, for those of us who buy through the Epic Game Store, how do we get the pre-game editor. I am still waiting for an answer. I wrote to Epic, they sent me to the developer support team. I wrote to the developers, no response so far.
Will it be necessary to request a refund from Epic and buy it on Steam?
