I've been playing the game with the Real Name fix and downloaded player faces and everything was fine up until recently (I am in April 2025 in my save). Then I noticed some things not working anymore suddenly. For example: The German national team doesn't call up any real players anymore (it did so for the entirety of the game), the Brazlian teams lost their real names (they are now all called the 3-letter-abbreviations again, for example FLA instead of Flamengo, COR instead of Corinthians, etc.) and the player faces don't work probably - but only for the players on the french national team, which I manage. For example, Evan N'dicka is both in my team as well as in my national squad. When I go to my club's squad and click on his profile, his player face shows, but when I go to the France squad and click on his face, it doesn't show. Does anyone know what might be causing this and if I can fix it/return it to the way it was? Some days ago, I thought I had a problem with steam (no games started, but a simple restart of my laptop fixed it) and I did the “verify integrity of game files” in the settings for Football Manager. Might this have something to do with it?
I actually did notice that from the start of the save my team's stadium would sometimes have its real name (Deutsche Bank Park) and sometimes simply would be called “Frankfurt Stadium”, whereas Bayern Munich's Allianz Arena is continuously called “Fußball Arena München”.
I'd really appreciate if anyone is able to help me out here.

Download the real name fix and install it again, that should cover it.
As for the stadium names, the non-sponsored name is what appears in European competitions, as irl, due to licensing restrictions tied to the new UEFA licences which cannot be edited away.

Thanks for the help. I'll try that. But don't you have to start a new save for the fixes to work? Would it still work again in my current save?
Also thanks for the info on the stadium names, that makes a lot of sense, I was really wondering what was up with that.

How about you just try and follow my advice, whereupon you'll see that your questions are addressed and that these particular fixes will work in your save game 😉

Now I had the chance to try it, and it worked. Player faces are all there, Brazilan teams have the right names, and while it's still a while until the next national team call up, I assume that will work as well. Thanks a lot and sorry again, didn't mean to doubt you, I was just being impatient and curious. 🙂
