This year you can have multiple balls installed
The ball changes depending on which compettion you are playing in.
Any requests then comment below and we will try our best.
How to install....
All balls and config are now in a folder named "BALLS"
Just drop this into the following.....sports interactive/football manager 2021/graphics/pictures
If you dont have any of the folders named then please create them first
(the balls & config must be in a folder named "balls" for them to work.....very important folks

What line in the config file do I have to add to put a certain ball in the lower leagues, for example Liga 3 Portugal ?

I only play in 2d and I'm currently in the bundesliga and I can't stand the ball like. Its far too white and it just annoys me having to watch it.
Is there any way I can possibly get the ball to be just like the regular black and white spotted one that the unlicensed leagues use?

Adidas Teamgeist is a 2006 model, the gold version you see there is similar to the one used in the 2006 World Cup Final, while the red one is similar to the one AC Milan used in their 2006/07 home games

Perhaps a new ball for Champions League;
New Bundesliga ball;

@Footygamer We have this very nice 3D match ball pack 👍🙂 But nobody is updating it 🤷♂️ could we perhaps advertise for somebody to take charge of this and update it regularly ?
I've asked @bartdude earlier in this thread if we can use his work as a base for a new pack that somebody else updates, but he has not answered here
It would be very nice addition to the site to have a “sortitoutsi 3D match ball pack” that was updated recently 🙂
I also think it should be added to the Football Manager Essentials

It's always a question of finding the best image to create a decent 3d match ball and most are not available when the manufacturers release a new ball. Also I only focus on British leagues and cup balls. As and when decent images appear, I will do some updates. However, I will wait until FM24 is released to see if the process changes and what, if any challenges it presents.

@bartdude Hey, do you know where abouts in the Football Manager directory the ball pictures that come with the game are? I've looked all over the graphics.fmf folder and can't see them anywhere.

You won't see a balls folder in the game, you have to create one in “graphics/pictures”. The balls pack here is not an fmf file but a graphical one with a config file.
