I'm going to add details (e.g. histories, attributes etc.) to the players added in this file. First will start with more famous players, followed by local regular players and U-team youngsters.

I don't know if I am the only person who has this problem or maybe it is not even a problem at all, but the Vissel Kobe team do not have a manager. Staff is missing.

Finished the big name players with full attributes and histories etc. Now moving to review and update the added players and staff club by club. After working on a few I can tell you the staff section is a complete mess - seems the official researcher(s) stopped update anything on that bit since 2021 so SI incorporated data of 2 years ago for a heavily promoted league addition!

Need some time to navigate but not far to get there. 

Can you swap Koh Bongjo and Naoyuki Fujita? SI has swapped the players by mistake, Koh is a korean GK and is displayed as a japanese center mid.

Wow what a mess. They should be ashamed selling us this rubbish. Attributes and all that are subjective, but you can't fuck up on details like that if you claim to be the most realistic football game out there. If you can include a corona virus, how hard can it be to copy details? Anyway there is a reason I happily pay you guys annually to get their laziness sorted. I am not gonna start a game before the hickups are cleared up. Keep up the good work mate.

And with that horrible latest info on JLeague I will wait eagerly for anything that looks to be playable bringing this league into my save.

Absolute mess from SI.

This was one of the reasons why I bought FM24 and didn't stick with FM23 and now find out that the database is complete mess, specially after starting a save.

Will you be updating more teams? I noticed Osaka FC is missing Gustavo Santos as an example.

Thanks for your hard work, cleaning their mess. 

After some thoughts, I decided to build a new file from stratch as the non-player changes and additions are quite massive after finishing a few clubs. Indeed, my work will also cover changes to club info (e.g. affiliations, club rivals etc.) and the addition of senior players in the first place given these are of utmost importance for a reasonably realistic J-League settings. Junior players (e.g. dual registered U-team youngsters and JFA designated players) may be added later.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Thank you for this great data file. The J.League default data and rules are a mess. Many of us Japanese are confused. Most of it can already be fixed with mods created by Japanese players, but it's a tragedy for many people who bought this game on Home Console. Sega advertised that the game had a full J.League license before its release... but the coaches and staff are pseudonyms, the national team doesn't exist, and the face packs and emblems are still fake. FM24 is the first time the series has been officially released in Japan, and many players are buying it for the first time. Considering the special attention it's receiving, this is really terrible.

johnlock, the porblem will be when DB 24.1 is coming, 24.2,… in each new update of DB, your work will reset again, no???

I just wish that in the final update 24.4 we finally get the perfect Japan League

I think it just needs an update in editor? Just to pass the files? Or something? I don't know. Either way, we are waiting for this tremendous job!!! 

johnloch  if you make it about all this great work about to add details (e.g. histories, attributes etc.) to the players added in this file.  please remade the file to 01._fm24 japan dabase fix so to be to all first in editor data and the id of the players not to change so will have one face pack from  AiZaK that will never change

I feel I'm obliged to provide an update on my work: so far finished 5 out of the 60 J-League clubs, put in all staff changes/additions for the senior team and the U-teams to the extent possible. Progress not bad but obviously need some time to tidy the mess.

Nice stuff. Hope player historic data will also be added (such as Juan Mata missing info). Maybe possible to copy players from FM23 over to FM24.

J-League surprisingly is a mess, although we finally got kits and a playable league out-of-the-box, this is not making sense at all. It's like having a EPL license without any real players in the DB. Or a UCL license without licensing all cl… oh wait.

fm just release a new patch i think the rules in the j league are correct now but it seems the player database are still the sames cause i still can't find juan mata thought

johnloch is this possible to put in your database and paul pogba is not in fm 24 database . so will have all the players missing like mata and pogba .
