You need to purchase the in-game editor to add, edit or correct in-game kit information. Alternatively you can insert/correct the information on the kits with the pre-game editor, but you will then have to start a new save for these changes to take effect.

For your future "saves" I suggest you use this file https://sortitoutsi.net/content/62140/fc12-kit-color-changes-202223 you will have to insert it in the editor data folder ..
There are many kit fixes in many leagues, but be careful, it follows the FC12 pack releases.

The easiest, fastest and most effective way is to use the in-game editor (or FMRTE https://www.fmrte.com/files/file/46-fmrte-23-for-windows/ always paid) but you have to buy it on steam.

Yes, and you'd need to do the same for the 3D kit, if you want it show in a 3D match.

I did that and it still doesn't show up

Check your config files for the 2D and 3D kits again and make sure they match exactly with the text of the third kits you've added. Also make sure your new third kits are in Ping (.png) format, not Jpeg (.jpg). If that doesn't work, PM me with your kits and config files and I'll take a look.

You also need to add a third kit on the editor if the Team doesn't already have one.

Yes, you're right, I use the IGE, it's easier and doesn't require you to start a new game. It's not a given that all teams have the data to add a third kit. People think the IGE is simply a way to cheat but I only use it for kits and moving players/managers to their real life clubs, or renaming newgen players to new youth players that aren't on the original database. All without the need for a data file and losing my career with a new save.

I added a few kits to my La Liga 2D kitpack. Which looks like this (Screenshot.1).png. I then made a config file from the FM Slovakia xml creator (Screenshot.3)png. I did all the recommended actions in game “Clear cache, Reload skin, no caching) and even checked ”Use official kits in the in-game editor. Yet now none of the kits are visible in game. All I get is what is reflected in the Image attached below. Can anyone help with this please?

Hey, I have an issue where if the clubs have licensed kits from SI it wont show the FC12 kits instead? is there a fix for this?

The default kits xml file has changed for FM2024 might cause transparents kits.

Since the last official update, I am getting this too. If FM24 has a kit already, it shows that kit instead of FC12 ones. Not sure why though. Oddly, it isn't all clubs. As an example, in the Scottish Premiership, with the downloaded FC12 pack, it shows the in game kits for Celtic, Hibs and Rangers, but the FC12 kits from the downloaded pack for everyone else. Config is fine for the league in the FC12 pack, all kits named correctly, cache cleared etc.

The issue should be “fixed” now.
At least for the “download area” plus the packs for 2023/24 season. 

For older packs, you need to remove “/en/” from the link.

Hi there I have downloaded all of the FM Slovakia kit files but some are showing up and some aren't like in the Turkish 2 division 4 or 5 teams kits show up but the rest do not does anyone know why this is and could help me out please.

in lower leagues, a lot of kits aren't visible in-game, we are working on a KCC that we will update regularly that will fix this issues,

Hi guys, for some reason the Chelsea kit doesn’t appear (as shown in the photo) in some matches but does appear in others. Does anyone have any ideas as to why? thanks!

Hello. I have a question. I think I'm using an old package as default kits. What would you recommend as the most up-to-date default kits? 

What makes me think that I am using the old package is that there is no effect visible on the jerseys.

EDİT: I solved it after 2 days of try. I had to struggle a lot with the files in Steamapps. Unfortunately, I don't like sigames' default graphics.

Have you tried the default skin during those matches?

So the first 8 packs I downloaded worked, then all of a sudden it stopped. All are extracted in the same folder, but when I reload skin nothing happens.

Hi, i have a problem with Man City Home FC'12 Kits not showing in Premier League matches, but when i play in the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao cup its fine? 

there also a problem with city 3D home kit also, when in the locker room when i'm playing premier league, it show me some white kits with logos on, even though i have downloaded 3d and 2d kits for man city correctly?

in conlusion, the problem is premier league games, any other competition it's fine.

am i the only one with these problems?
