Christ, you know you live in a small village when news travels this fast, I was told that one of my mates' dad had been caught playing away by my mate, I rung up and told my other mate and by the time I'd hung up and made a drink I got a phone call from another mate saying that the second mate had rung him telling about it!

This. Whats worse is everyone my age I actually hate and the only way to get out the village without a car is a bus which comes once every 1-2 hours

Ahh true. My shop's area manager has taken away our charity box. It's a local charity raising funds for kids with cancer. But apparently it discourages customers from buying things. Ugh.
