Since the 24.3. Update I haven't found a way around the hardcoding for the qualifying spots and I don't have further time to do so. If anyone wants to try their luck, feel free to use my files as a jumping off point, I'll keep them uploaded on here.
Similar issue with the qualification for the 24.1. file.

Please update this patch. There is a error on UEFA Youth League after new patch
I solved the problem myself. In editor load old version, than change “Database - Competitions - UEFA Yoth League - Edit - Teams - Registered Teams - Clear (list of teams) - Save Editor Data As… - Rules - Test Rules”. Enjoy ))))

Didn't work for me. Comes up with an error saying missing 3 teams for champions league.
Edit - Tried again & seems to be working! Thank you.

The problem with the new update is that it seems to break the Europa League and Conference League, fully stopping after 2027.
For anyone trying their luck, the Youth League is an easy fix, just add 39 teams with ranking 8 in the ranking rules with no information.
Hope someone else will be able to fix this, but sadly I do not have the time for that right now.

I am at the same point just updated 38 files should have been a simple process but many errors in nation rules, ended up creating 15 new files easier than trying to fix the older files.
I really hope next year SI lock down a lot of things because frankly I am totally over spending countless hours fixing the bloody mess that is the editor…if it is locked down then no temptation to create content
I will stick to default DB as I have invested too much time in my continental/international structures not to work….havent tested them in 24.3 DB yet as I know what is ahead, also I see FFP is still broken and wont be fixed in FM24 so its become a chore rather than a pleasure editing/using game.
SI have had how many year in the current format? and the editor still has bugs going back many years, the new format in FM25 well lets say I wont be expecting anything other than a total ………
