This is the 2007/08 Database for Football Manager 2024.
IMPORTANT!
When starting a new save on the 07/08 database after the Winter update. Its important that you select the Default Football Manager database. Do Not choose the 24.3.0 Update or any other updates as that will conflict with the 07/08 db.
This is the complete 2007/08 season. All the leagues are as they where back in 2007, with all the teams and players from back then. The player attributes, CAs and PAs is copied manually from the original Football Manager 2008. So now you have the chance to manage all the legends and wonderkids from that time, in the modern Football Manager match engine.

ENGLAND - (Premier League + Championship and League 1)
ITALY - (Serie A + Serie B)
SPAIN (La Liga)
FRANCE (Ligue 1)
GERMANY (Bundesliga)
SCOTLAND (Premiership)
PORTUGAL (Primeira)
THE NETHERLANDS (Eredivisie)
DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS
Click the SUBSCRIBE button and the 1998/99 DB fmf file will be downloaded to the appropriate folder on your computer.
Save game file
The save game file has everything loaded, every playable league and all created players.
Move the file into the Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/Games folder
Run FM24 and go to Load game then select the 2007/08 DB file and you're good to go.
FMF file
The fmf file can be opened with the editor and used to setup a custom career with your preferred playable leagues.
When starting a new career click the button at the top right corner saying DATABASE. Then click on the 24.3.0 button and select the Football Manager 2024 database instead. The 07/08 database does Not work with any updated FM databases.
Then Tick 'The 2007/08' box – Make sure no other editor data files are ticked!
Click Confirm and Choose Advanced Setup
Choose your preferred leagues out of the playable leagues.
Then press Approximate Player Count and choose ‘Advanced’
Select the nations you want to load players from besides the active leagues, to make sure that as many players as possible will be loaded.
tick the boxes saying Players Based in Nation – Even if your computer says that the number of players exeeds the recommended level it will only load the approximately 16.000 players which is created in the DB.
Finally, press Start Game and enjoy the nostalgia trip.

Will the newgens be real players on both files? Or do we need to download the fmf?

The Regen mod only works with the fmf file and needs to be downloaded separately from the creators Patreon.

I hope but i can't promise. I want to cover as many different nations as possible and already added three leagues in England. But we'll see if time allows me i will definitely add it with a later update.

Is there a way to stop the UEFA competitions from changing their format now that the original files used to do it aren't compatible with the latest update.

Sadly not. I have tried to merge the db with a stop the UEFA competitions from changing file, but without any success so far sorry.

No problem, ive been loving the first season so far, its just pure nostalgia. Good work on it. Only thing I can't seem to find would be Robinho or Dani Alves but I'm guessing that's to do with what happened in real life.

Great work! But quick question, is there youngters in this database, like Heung-Min Son or Griezmann for exaple ?

Thank you very much. yes Griezmann was on FM08, so i have included him. For other youngster to be added to the database you'll need to download the Regen mod, so they will be added as regens with future youth intakes.

Love the work! But is there a way to add the takeovers for PSG and City the PSG one is there I think but I played 5 seasons of the city save expecting the takeover.
