Almost half time now in the Coppa derby final. We've been, in a word, rubbish.....Lazio have had the better of it and Klose has had a couple of chances but not much apart from that.

The positives are that it's still 0-0, and my bet365 stream is good quality after ESPN decided to show IndyCar racing instead.

Don't think I've seen a Derby like this one, their always nervy affairs but here both sides were utterly terrified of making a mistake, thank god things improved after half time and we managed to get the goal we needed.

Forgot to add, credit to both sets of fans, there have been no reports of trouble between them or the police and the only negative thing has been 200 or so Roma fans throwing rocks at the team bus as it approached the training ground. Considering they were unsure they could even host the game in Rome that's a pretty good result.

Don't know how reliable this source is, but apparently both Napoli and Roma are after Odd's 23-year-old centre back Fredrik Semb Berge, who's currently with the Norwegian U21 side for the Euros in Israel.

Serie B play off final 2nd leg between the two Toscana sides Empoli and Livorno starts now. First game ended 1-1 at Stadio Carlo Castellani (Empoli). Chiellini and Diamanti in the stands wearing Livorno scarfs. Empoli starting with Tavano - Maccarone upfront.

It's a disaster!

The Azzurri left for South America on Sunday night with two tons of pasta, tins of tomatoes and olive oil which have been allowed into the country.

However, their collection of Parma Ham, Bresaola and Parmesan cheese have been detained because the Azzurri didn’t have the necessary permits to import the goods.


How could they possibly play football without their Parmesan?!

Looks like Rudi Garcia is next in line to have a go as Roma boss. It's still a gamble due to him having no Serie A experience but it's a gamble probably worth taking - certainly when you compare it to the appointments of Luis Enrique, who had barely any managerial experience, and Zeman, who has never been nor never will be a successful manager of a big club.
